Did We Just Form Voltron?!?!

We were no longer in separate lions, we were now in a giant robot made of those lions.

"WHOOHOO!" Alyssa whooped, "THIS IS THE AWESOMEST THING EVER!"

"ALYSSA, WE'RE LEGS!" Shay cheered.

"Guys, this is weird, it's like my lion's turned into a backpack," Kendall said, "Her legs are wrapped around this big guys shoulders like straps."

"Max, are you the other arm?" Karter asked.

"Yep," Max replied as his lion, which made this huge guy's right arm, opened and closed their mouth.

I was just staring in awe. "Whoa." 

Dad chuckled, "Cool isn't it?"

I wordlessly nodded, at a loss for words.

Mom smiled and put an arm around my shoulder. "You never forget the first time."

I took a deep breath. Time to take care of these Shifts. I started calling out orders. "All right guys, Let's get rid of these Shifts. Shay, Alyssa, and Kendall, you guys are on boosters. Max and Karter, get those lasers ready so we can blow these guys apart."

Everyone cheered and whooped, rearing to go. 

"LET'S GO!" I shouted and shoved Black's controls forward. 

Everyone yelled, "YEAH!" and Voltron shot toward the first cruiser.

The Green and Red Lions, now the right and left arms, opened their mouths and lasers came out. They hit the first cruiser as we rammed into it, pushing it away. The cruiser's lights went out, and little explosions started peppering its surface, right before the whole thing blew up.

Voltron shot for the next cruiser, but the legs overshot the boosters, and we almost went flying over it into the Atlas.

"Guys," I shouted, "Bring it back a little on the boosters!"

Alyssa and Shay both squeaked, "Sorry!" as Kendall turned us around. 

Voltron landed on top of the second cruiser and punched a hole in it with Karter's lion, which then blasted the inside of the ship.

Max's lion blasted away the cruisers Ion cannon, and we jetted over to the third cruiser, the medium-sized one.

More fighters launched and Voltron started blasting them away. The medium and biggest cruiser's shields went up, and Voltron came to a grinding halt.  

"How are we supposed to get through that?" Alyssa asked in her usual whiny tone.

"The Atlas blast through the shields for you Voltron," Said Uncle Corran over the comms, "Just hold tight for a moment!"

The Atlas's main cannon moved, and fired at the medium cruiser's shield. A few hits, and the medium cruiser was defenseless.

"Thanks Atlas," I told Uncle Corran, and Voltron made a beeline for it, dodging lasers from both cruisers as we went.

Voltron landed on its side hard, and pushed it as hard we could to the bigger cruiser. The cruiser we were pushing cut right through the big cruiser's shield and as the two collided, there was a huge explosion that blew Voltron and the Atlas backward.

And then it was over. Everyone on comms, me and my friends, their parents, all the officers on the Atlas bridge, everyone, cheered as loudly as they could.

All the parents were so proud, I could hear them praising their kids, and next thing I knew, both my parents had me in a breath-stealing bear hug.

"Mom, Dad," I managed to get out, "I love you too, but I need to breathe."

They apologized and kept hugging me, but not as tight. Mom started running her fingers through my hair as she and Dad kept right on telling me how proud they were. I could hear Shay just squealing with delight and Alyssa joking around with her Dad, and just laughed.

One more chapter and this book is done guys! Whoopie! Have a great day/night all!
