Fp had decided to throw a party in his house to celebrate the new year, now that everyone has survived last year's problems with the gargoyle king and the farm. Alice was now living with them but him and Alice have not confessed their feelings for each other and are "just friends", whatever that means.
One day during breakfast, Betty brings up what they are going to do when the ball drops, whether that be a kiss or hug a cheers with someone.
"Well I will be kissing my lovely girl." Jughead says smiling and putting an arm around Betty.
Both Fp and Alice say I don't know, making eye contact and both wanting to say kissing you to each other but not having the courage.

The day of the party comes and Alice has helped decorate the whole main floor.
"Hey mom I'm going to go get ready now. Are you?" Betty asks
"Umm yes I just have to help JB with her hair.why?"
"Just asking." Betty says
Betty and jughead both know about their parent's past and relationship and think we'll know that they still have feeling for each other. They are actually really ok with them being together because their parents have given up being with the people they love for them, and think they finally deserve to be in love with the other person actually knowing.
"Alice can you come do my hair now?" JB asks
"Yes of course sweetie."
Alice makes her way up the stairs to get ready with JB

When Alice comes down most people are here and Fp just arrived but with someone that works with him. Her name is Julie.
Alice sees her and immediately feels stupid for even thinking that maybe if she got all dressed up tonight that Fp would finally have the talk with her. She try's to go back upstairs but Fp sees her and is in awe of her outfit and just her.
"Hey all come meet Julie."
Fp looks happy with her but the reason he is happy is because he was going to pull Alice away at 11:50 and tell her that he loves her and needs her.
"Alice makes her way over trying to hide the tears that have made their way to her eyes.
"Hi Julie."
"Hi Alice it's so nice to meet you Fp tells me a lot about you just can't seem to shut up sometimes! Julie says joking
FPS face turns red instantly and Alice laughs at that.
She talks with Julie and actually starts to like her. But then something surprises Alice. Fp comes up behind her and that's when they hear someone call Julie's name she turns over and smiles at the women then pulls her into a kiss.
"Alice Fp this is my girlfriend Kristen!"
Fp is looking at Alice to see her reaction because he knew she though Julie was his date.
They all say hello but the Fp excuses him and Alice for a bit her pulls her into the kitchen
Alice is looking at him.
"Why didn't you tell me you weren't with Julie?" Alice says
"Because if I did you would have probably figured out what I was planning to do tonight."
"Which is..." Alice says completely lost
"Alice I have loved you since I meet you and the past couple months that live has only grown stronger seeing you wake up in the morning I want to be the first person you see every morning and every night I love you Alice so much and I'm hopping you feel the same."Fp says
"Finally!" Alice says
She puts her hand around his neck just as they hear everyone count down.
