Alice is meeting Fp at the station so they can go to lunch when she notices a younger women walking out of his office and sitting down at a desk.
"Hi I'm here to see Fp." Alice says to the girl.
"Oh sherif Jones is busy he's expecting his girlfriend soon." She says not looking up.
"I know I'm his girlfriend." Alice says annoyed.
This catches the girls attention and she finally looks up at Alice smirking.
"Oh I'm sorry, I was excepting someone a little younger but I find it cool how he's into older women." The new assistant says and this causes Alices mouth to open is shock. Alice scoffs and walks into the office.
"Hey baby." Fp says as he comes around to hug her but Alice puts a hand up.
"So I see you have a new assistant?" Alice says crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow.
"Yes Melissa. Why?"
"Well she's just really young. Are you sure you want to trust her with important work?"
"Yes she's really good at her job. Where is this jealous side coming from?"
"I'm not jealous!" Alice says stomping out of the office.
When she got to her car the looks in the mirror the words that Melissa says sticking in her head.
"I find it so cool that he's dating an older women."
Alice starts to pull at her skin under her eyes seeing the bags and the wrinkles beside them. She sees that on the top of her head there is some grey hair and she tries to tuck the away. She can feel the hurt come on because Melissa was right she is an older women she just didn't think she was that old until now.

It's a few hours later, Alice has calmed down she went straight home and started to cook FPS favourite meal as a way to apologies for her outburst in his office.
"Hello?" Fp says as he picks up his phone.
"Hey it's me. I wanted to say I'm sorry for my outburst today. I don't know what got into me. But I'm making your favourite dinner tonight. When will you be home?"
"It's ok al. But I won't be home for dinner tonight. We just got a huge case and I'm staying late with Melissa to work on it. I don't know when I'll be home ." Fp says
"Oh, ok I'll put some left overs in the fridge for you-"
"Ok thanks al I'm sorry to rush you but I gotta go,"
"Ok love yo-." Fp hung up on her.

That night it's just Alice and JB since Betty and Jug we're off at college.
"Are you ok Alice?" JB asks sensing that the women was off.
"Yeah it's just been a long day."
"Ok well thanks for dinner it was great to bad dad had to work this is his favourite."
"Yeah I know." Alice says smiling at the girl.
"Are you going to go play your video game?" Alice asks clearing the table.
JB was about to say yes but could tell Alice was upset about something.
"No actually do you want to watch a movie?"
"Yeah I would love that. All the times I've watched a movie the past few weeks was by myself. Your dads been working a lot of nights." Alice says
"Are you and dad ok?"
"Yeah we're good don't worry, now what should we watch?"

"You didn't have to wait up." Fp says as he walks into the house seeing Alice reading on the couch.
"I know but I figured you wouldn't want to eat alone. Because we haven't really had any alone time lately and I figured we could now." She says getting up to wrap her arms around his neck.
"Oh I already ate I forgot to call you and tell. We just went to pops." Fp says undoing his tie.
"We?" Alice questions.
"Me and Melissa."
"So you went for dinner?" Alice asks jealous of this women getting all his attention.
"Yeah why?"
"I don't know I mean you could have just come home and spent time with me and JB instead of with that women." Alice says rolling her eyes.
"I told you Alice I was busy. Melissa really helped. God just stop being so jealous. You seriously have no trust in me and think for a second I would cheat on you!?" Fp says loudly scaring Alice a bit.
"You have though." She says in a whisper.
"What? Speak up." Fp says getting annoyed.
"You have though!" Alice yells.
"When?"
"In high school. Anytime there was a prettier girl you would forget about me and go with her instead. It happened so many times. And it broke me. To know that I was so serious about our relationship and you- you didn't give a shit about me. So sorry it I am a little insecure."
"I'm a changed man now and the fact that you can't see that hurts. I'm going upstairs." Fp says not waiting for Alice.
She starts to walk into the kitchen and goes behind the counter and sinks to the ground covering her mouth as she silently cries.
That night Alice slept on the couch and when she woke up Fp was already gone to work.

"Fp your girlfriend is on the phone." Melissa tells Fp.
"Tell her I'm busy." He says not wanting to fight with Alice.
"He's doesn't want to talk with you right now. We are very busy this is. The sherif station after all he doesn't have time to talk with you every other minute." Melissa says and Alice just hangs up and calls FPS cell.
"Hello?"
"Can you come home." Alice says
"Al-"
"I know you don't want to talk to me Melissa already told me but Please." Alice begs and he gives in.
"Ok I'll be home." Fp says.

"Hi." Fp says seeing Alice waiting by the door.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I'm so annoying and ridiculous. I'm sorry that I hurt you. I'm sorry that I'm never going to be perfect enough because I'm old and that I'm lucky to have you so I can't lose you. But I know it's possible." Alice says.
"What? Alice your not annoying and you're never ever going to lose me. I love you so much baby. What got you thinking like this?"
"A few weeks ago Melissa basically called me old and it got to my head seeing her as your new assistant it just brought back some demons I thought I left behind a long time ago."
"Alice baby you have no need to be jealous. Yes I have been unfaithful to you in the past but I'm done being that idiot who didn't know how good he had it. Because you, are a literal goddess. And you're my goddess. The women I get to wake up to every morning. The women to can always put a smile on my face. The women who Yes does know how to push my buttons but only when I'm wrong. I'm never going to leave you Alice. Never ever. Come here." Fp opens his arms up for her and she walks right in.
"I love you so much you have no idea." He says wrapping her in a tight bear hug.
"I love you to."
