"Come on babe, it is just a few hours," Daniel, now with blonde hair, states.
"I don't care! That is a few hours too long!" Jack says in a raised voice.
"Jack, you need to get out of the house. Zach and Jonah have already agreed to watch Lav, and you need a bit of a break," Daniel says as the brunette continues to dress his daughter.
"Dani, I can't leave her. Not yet, okay?"
"Jack, honey, the sooner you break that habit, the sooner you and Lavender can be truly happy. If you don't break it now, she'll never learn to live on her own. Please, go on a date with me. It will just be a movie and dinner," the blonde says, holding Jack's hand.
"No movie," Jack begins to negotiate.
"Okay. We'll just go for dinner," Daniel agrees.
"Okay. Fine," Jack says as he picks Lavender up from the changing table and leaves the room.
Daniel follows, giving a subtle thumbs up to Jonah, who smiles brightly.
After feeding and burping Lavender, Jack places her on her playmat and sits next to her.
Zach comes out of his and Jonah's bedroom and sits next to Jack, playing with Lavender. Corbyn is in his room, which is Daniel and Jack's old one since they moved in closer to the nursery.
At around 7 pm, Jack and Daniel are both dressed for their date night. Daniel is wearing a black t-shirt that is semi clinging to his body, with greyish blue jeans and a pair of white sneakers. Jack has on a white and black checkered shirt, with a solid black leather jacket on top, unzipped. He is wearing dark gray, almost black, jeans that have rips in the knees. He ties the outfit together with black vans.
The two set out and go to the resturaunt, Jack having anxiety about lavender the entire time.

After talking Jack out of calling their friends for the fifth time since they left half an hour ago, Daniel stands up from his chair in the resturaunt and gets down on one knee.

I have seen every Jack Avery there is. Straight hair, curly hair, bare skin, tattooed skin, happy Jack, mad Jack, protective Jack, and even sad Jack. Only now, instead of me feeling lost and empty, I feel like I'm right where I am supposed to be when I'm with you and Lavender. Seeing you with her, has not only made me love you, but solidified what I already knew, that you're the one for me. I don't remember how I functioned before you came along, but I'm positive that I didn't very well. You, Jack Robert Avery, are the light to guide me out of the darkest tunnel. You're the hand to hold at the loneliest point in my life. You're the Jim to my Pam, the Damon to my Elena, the Beck to my Tori, the Blaine to my Kurt.
