A/N: Not actually meant to be ship or anything, but I won't care if you take it that way, I love ameger anyway

It was an early time to be having a meeting, but America didn't call it that. Truthfully, it wasn't. More of a pal hangout. But truthfully, it was too early to be doing anything, but Germany was never one to complain about hanging out with one of his closest friends.

Germany's house was much fancier than America's, so that's probably some of the reason why the latter spent so much time over instead of vice versa. Not that Germany would oppose that, either. It's much easier to just have people over than leave the comfort of your home.

So they hung out, talked, ate snacks(mostly America), and now watched movies.
It was a sci-fi called Ex Machina, and seeing the robots got America to talking, of course.

"Oh dude, it's crazy the kind of stuff people come up with, y'know? Like, just the other day I got a Roomba, and--"

"The fuck is a Roomba?"

America paused and stared at the German with an incredulous look, like he didn't believe him.

"You're kidding right?"

Germany shook his head.

"Oh. Okay, so like, they're these little machines that roll around on wheels and vacuum your floor, and it's all decked out with like sensors that help it navigate and stuff. People love them!"

Now Germany looked at America in disbelief.

"That sounds very fake, but ok."

"What? No, dude, I'm not making it up!"

Germany paused the movie to glare at America.

"America, that doesn't exist. A robot that cleans all by itself?? Why do you even need that, when you have maids?"

"What??" America could not have been more confused.

"Yeah, I mean, you Americans have maids, right? Why have Roombas if you already have maids doing work?"

And he stood corrected.

"Okay, I think I should tell you that not all Americans have maids. The majority of us don't have the money to afford that."

"So pay a kid like 10€ an hour and have them do it."

America held his hands pressed, palms together up to his nose, and breathed in deeply.

"First off, that's entirely illegal in my country. Child labor laws. Second, I don't see what's so hard to believe about a robot that cleans your floor? Like, look, check this out."

He scooted over so he was squished against Germany's side, so he could show him him pulling up an Amazon page featuring the robot in question.

"See, it real! There's whole Amazon pages for it to be sold!"

Germany crossed his arms, still frowning, "No way, you just made fake pages to confuse me."

"WHAT?" America shouted. "Why in Pangea's name would I ever make something like this up?! This is more like something Russia would do!"

"I just don't see how you could have a robot that climbs walls like that and cleans!"

"........"

"......."

"W H A T?!"

"YOU SAID THEY WORK LIKE VACUUMS, RIGHT? HOE DOES THE ROOMBA CLEAN THE DRAPES, TOO?"

"WHO SAID ANYTHING ABOUT CLEANING DRAPES? THEY JUST CLEAN FLOORS!"

"Mist!"

"Es ist kein Mist!"

"Es ist!"

"Ist kein! That's what feather duster are for, you know!"

"What the fuck ist a feather duster!"

"Pangea," America punched the bridge of his nose, "Pangea, you're gonna freak out. It's basically a bunch of feathers connected to a stick that are used to swipe up dust."

Germany sat back for a second, processing. Then, he leapt up again to scream, "WHY WOULD YOU USE SOMETHUNG LIKE THAT? VACUUMS ARE BETTER, THEY'RE MORE EFFICIENT."

"Fuck, you know there are some good brands, like Swiffer."

Germany was so mad he started shaking. And then he started crying, he was so angry. How did it come to this?! What about room as filled Germany with such disbelief that he'd go into a crying fit of rage.

"W-what the fuuuuck," he sobbed, "what the f-f-fuck is Swifferrrr!"

America sighed deeply, deciding that it's just best to end it here.

"Fuck it, don't worry about it. Pangea, you're so crazy."

Germany sniffled, agreeing to calm down, "Fick dich. Du hast mich zum Weinen gebracht."

"Whatever, dude. Let's just watch Shark Tale or something."
