chapter 11

Shannon's P.O.V.

Sun comes up and I look over to see her still asleep.  I wonder if she will leave me once she finds out my secret. I don't know if I should tell her or not.  I'm far from perfect and I know she may have her dirty deeds, but should it push her away, is what is keeping me from spilling it.  Coffee calls to me, I can't ignore it.  Work comes  later, until then I wanna spend time with her, getting to know her deeper inside and maybe convince her to stay once I do let her in my dark world.

Italian roast and sweet cream, my morning craving.  Messages begin to show up on my phone and I scroll through them,  oh there's one from my brother.  She will never meet him if I have any say.  I wonder if she knows that other guy with us that night was him. I hope not.

I can hear a door open and wait for her to walk out to me.  Maybe she going to the bathroom.  I take a sip of my black fuel and close my eyes inhaling the sweet aroma of this sweet cup of brew. A warm pair of lips touches my neck just below my tattoo,  soft hands run up and down my chest.  Its her, my morning angel awakes  from her slumber.  Julie " morning my sweet coffee lover ".  I reach and pull her hand to my lips and kiss it.  She moans in my ear and it makes me smile. Turning around I pull her into my body between my legs.  She lays her head on my shoulder and nibbles on my neck. 

Me " your very frisky this morning jewels  ".  Julie" you do it to me ".   Her fingers run through my hair it feels amazing,  she can do things to my mind no other woman can.  I can't explain it.  She is what my soul had been missing all this time.

I squeeze her tight & I know she can feel I need to tell her something. Pulling away I want to just tell her my dark secret but, not now. I can't and don't wanna ruin this beautiful moment.  Julie " what do you wanna do today? ".   I look up into her sweet hazel eyes and say " I wanna make you mine ".  Julie " I am  already yours  ".  She's breaking me down &  I need to push away . I can't let her in until I get this out.  She kisses my cheek as my hands go up in her shirt massaging her shoulders and I can feel her lips move up to my chin and it feels heavenly.  Julie " Shannon?".  Me" mmhmm".  Her hand slides up my chest to feel my heart racing.  Julie " come back to bed and cuddle with me before I leave ".  Leave?  Now?    I pull away and she gets worried I can read her eyes,  she scared I'm gonna say something to hurt her.  Me" I need to tell you something ".  Julie " tell me?  Ok, should I sit down? ".  Me" yea, that would be a good idea ".   She pulls up a chair next to me and waits for my next words.  I take a deep breath and prepare to possibly lose her for good.
