Hours pass and I wake up to bright lights in my eyes.  I'm told that I shouldn't move and I don't understand why?  I look over to see two doctors with their eyes on me.  I'm lying down in a cat scan table. The machine is huge and loud.  Its cold too!    Where is Shannon?  Doctor" ok almost done ".   Minutes later,  I'm taken to a room again.  And I see his beautiful face,  and I can't wait to touch him.   His eyes  are blood shot red.  Has he been crying?  Why is he upset?  Who hurt him? .

Me" hey you ".  He sits down next to my bed again as soon as I'm locked in place.  S"I love you ".  He starts to cry again and kisses my cheek.  I touch his face and feel his tear drops run down my arm. Its breaking my heart.  Me" what's wrong? ".   He stays silent and doesn't say anything. It scares me to the core.  Me" Shannon? ".   He looks over to me and I know something is very wrong.  S" I wanna let the doctors tell you instead ".  Me" Shannon please tell me, I wanna know damit!".    And  the doctor comes in just as Shannon is about to spill it.   D" we have your results from the cat scan and other tests.".  I look at Shannon and he already knows what's gonna be said.  D" you have Breast cancer stage two,  it will spread fast if we don't get a hold on it.  I'm gonna go talk with our team and come back and go over your options I will be back in a short bit ".   He exited the room and my attention went to Shannon.  I could feel how bad he was hurting.  Me" come here ".  He climbed in bed with me and I wrapped him tight in my arms.   S" I couldn't tell you I didn't wanna cry again ".     I ran my fingers in his hair and said " I don't deserve you ".   He leaned up and put his chin on my chest and said " no baby,  you do....... You deserve the world in my eyes.  You take care of everyone else and now........its about time for someone like me to take care of you ".

My heart was filled with so much love.  He was my dream come true.  He was everything I ever wanted.
