I threw the last luggage onto the weight scale and got checked in with Nina. I could hear a guys voice I assumed it was the person maybe behind me when " I'm back my love sorry I took so long ". Oh my! Who is this sweet piece of art? He smiled at me and extended his hand . J" I haven't met you, I'm Jared and you my lovely are? ". I blushed, he had an accent like Shannon. Oh fuck, it stung deep when I said his name. I missed him already, but for his sake and my heart, it couldn't be. Not after his confession. Me" I'm Julie, Nina's best friend ". He kissed my hand and smiled. Wow that's a beautiful white smile. J" pleasure is all mine miss Julie ". Southern gentleman. I could never get tired of it.
We all went to have lunch before take off, I need some coffee and something sweet to snack on. N" so I invited him to come home with me to see LA, he's never been. You know that beach you and I used to kiss boys at? ". She and I giggled like teenagers. Oh man those were the days alright. My first kiss was this boy named Jason, tall basketball player he and I were best friends and always flirted, but never crossed the line. Nina and I still kept in touch with a lot of the guys we kissed. We weren't hookers, we just had a lot of boys we flirted with and had fun. In an innocent way of course.
N" oh! Time to go my babies ". Jared leaned over and kissed her cheek. J" I can't wait to see LA through your eyes my sweetheart ". She Nuzzled her head on his neck and smiled at me. I was stoked she found love, she deserved it more than anyone. She had a heart of gold and he was her hearts calling. I was smiling now. Seeing her happy made me feel happy again. I just missed him. Maybe I made a mistake? My heart was hurting.
