My head is spinning I could barely open my eyes . I swore I could see his eyes coming twords me. His warm hands rubbed against my arm and his voice echoed in my ear. S" how you feeling babe?". S" I'm scared I'm gonna lose you for good one of these days ". Me " the doctor said the cancer is declining and I'm only gonna get better from here on out ". He smiled and kissed my arm. Me" when can we go home? ". S" soon, you need rest ".
My door opens and the nurse walks in. N" I brought you some pain medication ". S" your in pain? What's wrong? ". Me" nothing its just a head ache babe". He gave me that look. She handed me the pill and water. I took it down in one swallow. N" we are gonna run a couple more tests and then we should have a clear view of what's going on ". Me" ok ". She left us and he sat up and I could see on his face he was lost. Me" you ok? ". S" what are you not telling me? ".
How could I tell him this? Me" its just a head ache ". S" Julie? ". He touched my face and I could not to lie him. Me" I was pregnant...... I lost the baby. The cancer was to much ". I could feel his body shaking. He had been through enough with me. S" I'm sorry ". I caressed his face. Me" you did nothing wrong ". He looked at me it broke my heart. S" I wanna make you happy ". Me" you do babe why would you think you didn't ". He came over top of me and kissed me. S" you love me ". Me" yes. Shannon why are you acting like this? ". S" its nothing, never mind ". He laid his head in my chest and didn't say another word.
