FOUR: MARE

I woke up a bit light headed but in seconds it went away. I looked at my side on my bed and saw Cal, peacefully sleeping.

I got up and went to my writing desk to see what time was. Nine o'clock.

"Breakfast at ten o'clock. One hour to get ready." I thought.

So, I needed to wake up Calore.

After brushing my teeth I got into my robe and headed to my bed. He was so handsome. I slightly kissed him on the cheek and he slowly woke up.

"Good morning."
''Good morning Mare."
"You have an hour to get ready for breakfast." I said while going to the bathroom to take a quick shower.
"Before you go, can you pass my robe please?"
"No."
"Please..." he begged with a half asleep voice.
"Here you go." I said throwing his robe on his face.
"Thanks." He said while giving me a smooch.
"Always."

30 minutes later we were ready. I was with black trousers, white shirt and my boots. Cal was also wearing his black trousers but he was wearing a red shirt with his black and red boots.

Since we had some time till breakfast we decided to have a walk on the garden. It was a sunny day of spring but a little windy. When arrived there we sat on a bench and watched the beautiful morning. But his face seemed a little worried.

"What's bordering you?" I asked.
He sighed.
"I need to tell you something."
"Well, I'm listening."
"So, I didn't come all the way here just to be with you Mare. I also came to ask Davidson about some things."
"What kind of things?" I asked quite confused.
"How to build a Republic."
My eyes winded in surprise for the news. They are all going to be free.
"Really? Cal that's amazing!" I said hugging him excitedly.
"I know that it means a lot to you and because of this I wanted for you to be the first person to know about it."
"But are you going to tell everyone about it or are you just going to talk to Davidson?"
"Everyone." He said.

Suddenly the bell rang meaning it was time.
We left the garden and went to the eating room. In the corridor we found Farley who was also heading there.

"Good morning Mare." She said. "Calore."
"Good morning." We said together.

When we arrived there the smell was delicious. Also Carmadon and Davidson, Evangeline and Elane were already sat on the table.

We also sat, Cal by my right side and Farley by my left.

"Good morning everyone." Davidson said smiling.
We all answered him and Carmadon started explaining the plates that we were going to eat.
"Well, the first one will be a fruit salad with wild berries. The second one poached eggs with asparagus and the third one are pancakes with syrup."

Just to hear all the food my belly started growling. In the same instant the servants served the first plate.

After the three plates everyone went to their rooms to practically do nothing. But I needed to talk to Farley.

"Hey, do you have a minute?"
"Yes, I don't have anything to do all day." She answered.
"So, Cal told me some things about Norta."
"And they are?"
"Norta is going to be a Republic!" I said excitedly.
"You kidding? She said speechless. "W-we did it!" she added hugging me.
"Cal told me this morning."

She sighed

"I can't believe it Mare."
"But is real Diana. They are all going to be free."
