And so, we come to today. Like I said at the start of the story (if you can remember that far), by the time I'm writing this, I'm 21 years old. I'm about to go into my third and final year of university and hopefully, will graduate and get a graduate job at a local engineering company (maybe even creating my own company one day). I'm still living in the same apartment at Dragon's Edge with Astrid, her bird Stormfly and of course, my dog, Toothless, who is now 5 years old and still jumping all over the place. Astrid is also going into her final year and afterwards, hopes to get her graduate job at a nearby training centre as a coach.

My visits with my mum have, unfortunately, been less frequent due to the fact she now lives at Berk. But when I do go to Berk during my school breaks, she's the first person I visit. She hasn't been alone, thankfully. Gobber, of course, have been around to help when he isn't busy with school work and my neighbours have been helpful as well. She seems genuinely happy with things and it makes me happy to know she's fitting back into Berk nicely.

There... have been days where I'm missing my dad terribly and that sometimes I shut down completely. But unlike before, I let Astrid know and she's always there to help get through it. It doesn't last long, so it passes by quickly. Honestly, I haven't had the guts to visit my dad's memorial place yet (he doesn't have a grave since we cremated him), but I'm hoping when I visit Berk again, I get the courage to do so.

I've always know my life for the past 5 years have been pretty crazy, but writing them down made me realise how crazy it really was. All the highs and lows I've been through. Even with the sad ones, it was actually nice to properly reminisce about them. It made me truly appreciate everything - the people I've met and the events that changed me. And it only makes me intrigue as to what my future may hold for me. Who knows, I may write another memory lane (though this one was longer than I expected).

But, nevertheless, I hope you enjoyed reading the life of a awkward, sarcastic, weak kid. And I hope, out of everything, you take away one thing - no matter what life throws at you, whether it will bring you up or down, things will always get better in the end if you stay true to yourself.

- Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III (yes, that's my full name).

Thank you so much for reading my story and for sticking around, particularly during my unplanned break near the end.

I want to give my special thanks to @SamuraiMatrixPrime, @Rocky2657, and especially @Lise357 for their continued support for this story. Once again, thank you all! :D
