"Finding Answers"
“Are we there yet?”
“No,” I said through gritted teeth.
“Now,” Luke asked.
“No!”
“What about now,” he asked with a grin.
“That’s it! If you ask one more time I’m dropping you off and I won’t look back,” I yelled.
“I’m just bored,” he groaned.
“I don’t care. I’m about to kill you,” I said angrily.
“How can you kill me if I don’t technically exist,” he asked with a raised eyebrow.
“I can find a way. A gruesome way,” I said as I forced myself to relax.
“You don’t have to be that vicious,” he said with a frown.
“You didn’t have to be that annoying,” o replied.
“How long have we been driving,” he asked.
“Almost forty-five minutes,” I told him.
“That’s a long time,” he said.
“You have no idea.”
“Do you not like me,” he asked with a blank face.
“I like you. You’re just getting on my nerves right now,” I explained.
“I’m sorry. I’m just nervous,” he said looking down.
“What are you nervous about,” I asked.
“What she’s gonna tell us,” he told me.
“It’s gonna be ok. We’re gonna figure this out,” I said trying to reassure him.
“I just don’t get how one wish could do this,” he told me.
“I don’t either.”
“This thing says that the road is coming up on the left,” he told me.
I saw the street and pulled on it. Then I saw the correct house and we pulled in. After I parked I just sat there. I was just as nervous as Luke. I had no idea what this lady would tell us. She could be insane for all we know.
“Are you coming,” Luke asked.
“Yeah,” I said as I turned the car off and climbed out. We walked to the door and I knocked.
