                                                     "Unexpected Help"

I woke up the next morning with a heavy pressure on my stomach. I slowly opened my eyes and looked down to see what it was. It was an arm. I followed the arm up until I saw a face. I calmly lifted my hands and pushed him out of the bed. I was happy to hear him land with a loud thump.

“What the hell,” he yelled as he jumped up.

“Sorry. It was a reaction,” I said as I stood up.

“To shove me out of the bed,” he asked angrily.

“Yup,” I said as I walked over to my closet.

“Am I going with you today,” he asked.

            “Yes,” I said. “Turn.”

“Ok. Do you have any friends?”

“No,” I said simply as I pulled on my clothes.

            “Why not?”

“Not many people want to be friends with the crazy depressed girl,” I told him.

“I do,” he said smiling as he turned back around.

“Well you’re one in a million,” I said as I slid my shoes on.

“I know,” he said happily as he plopped down on the bed.

“Get dressed. We have to go,” I told him as I gathered my things.

“I don’t have any clothes,” he said.

“Use my brother’s,” I told him.

“Fine,” he grumbled as he walked out.

I slung my bag over my shoulder and walked out of the room. I hurried down the stairs and walked into the kitchen. My brother and Nora were once again gone. They never stayed to wait on me anymore. There was no point in it.

“How does this look,” Luke asked from behind me.

“Does it matter? No one can see you,” I said as I grabbed a pop-tart.

“You can see me,” he grumbled.

            “So?”

“Do I look alright or not,” he asked in a huff.

“You look fine,” I said as I rolled my eyes.

“Thank you,” he said as he grabbed a pop-tart. It turned invisible as soon as it was in his grip.

“Whatever. We have to go,” I said as I grabbed my keys and walked out of the house.
