Chapter 4

Another 4 miserable days go by and still no Aaron. On the fifth morning I've had just about enough of moping around . I come out of my room but both my parents were asleep seems how it was 2:35 in the morning. I was still wearing my Tee shirt and booty shorts that I had on when Aaron left. I creep downstairs and put on some boots and my red fleece jacket and walk outside. I immediately get cold but I figured the cold air would help clear my brain and help me focus myself. Unfortunately I hear a howl close by and can't help but wonder if maybe it's Aaron. I let my curiosity get the better of me and I walk into the woods. But I see nobody. "Aaron?" I whisper. I don't get an answer. All the sudden I turn around and see a man standing in the shadows. I gasp. "W-who are you?" I ask. He smirks. "Your worst nightmare." He says as he runs toward me and picks me up. I scream for help. He slings me over his shoulder and carries me off. All the sudden I'm thrown down on hard wooden floor. "Please let me go." I plead. "Oh my dear princess you left me for an alpha who can't even protect you." He says. My eyes widen. I knew who this was he was my old boyfriend. I had to leave him when I came to my dad's house. I didn't know he was a werewolf! "Caiden!" I shout. He smirks. "So you finally figured out who I am. Good for you sweet heart." All the sudden he picks me up and rips my shirt. "You know you never let me kiss you the way Aaron kisses you." He said as he smelled the pice of shirt he ripped off. He drops me back down and I cover up the hole he left. Then he leaves and locks the door. I curl up in a corner and cry. Aaron help me. I plead silently. All the sudden I feel wind. I look around and see a crack on the wall. Maybe if I could break it open without him knowing I could run away from here. I crawl over to it and pull on it a little it makes a cracking noise. I hold my breath and look at the door. I pull on it again. It cracks again. I yank on it some more but just as I get to my last pull before I'm home free Caiden comes in. He grabs my arm and yanks me to my feet. He pins me against the wall. "Where do you think your going?" He says in an evil voice. Tears spill down my face. "Please let me go. What do you want with me?" I ask. He smirks. "I'm going to make Aaron pay for what he did to me." He said as he suddenly bit down on my neck. I scream from the pain but soon I black out. Aaron please come save me. I need you. When I wake up I'm tied to a pole in a different room. I see Caiden sleeping in a chair by the fire. I try to untie myself but I couldn't. My hands were tied behind my back. Plus I was tied to a pole. All the sudden Caiden stands up. I quiet struggling and look at him. He smirks. "I can smell Aaron looking for you." He said he bend down in front of me. "Caiden." I whisper as more tears spill down my face. He laughs a little and grabs my chin. "I've marked you which means your mine now." He said. I close my eyes and more tears come. I open them as I feel his tongue on my neck licking the spot where he bit me. But he doesn't stop he starts sucking on it. I kick him off. "Get off me you freak." I hiss at him. He smirks. "Your boyfriends here." He says as he turns around. I notice footsteps coming from the other side of the door. All the sudden they stop. Then a loud cracking noise hits my ears and the door flies off its hinges. Standing in the door way is Aaron. I smile. "Aaron!" I scream. I see his eyes shift toward me but he doesn't run to help me instead he stays there. "Aaron?" I question. Caiden laughs. "Looks like your too late Aaron. I've already marked her as mine." Caiden smirks. I try to break out of the ropes that bonded me to the pole but it was no use. I let out a frustrated sigh. "Caiden why are you doing this?" I ask. He laughs. "Oh Aaron hasn't told you? Well let me explain. Do you remember that day when I sent you to the mall and then ditched you. Well I was fighting with your beloved boyfriend. But instead of killing me he said if he ever caught me attacking the pack again he'd track down the one that I loved and kill her. You see Reyna he wanted to kill you he indirectly threatened you. I tried to protect you but when you moved away and never called me I sent one of my scouts to look after you. But he ran into a certain white wolf. And that's when you saw them." My eyes widened. "Reyna Aaron was coming to kill you that night. He herd you moved there and he was coming to kill you." He keeps repeating it. "No he would never." I scream. All the sudden with one quick moved Caiden pulled me free from the pole. He grabbed my chin and forced me too look at Aaron. Why wasn't he helping me. I'm sure Aaron could take Caiden. "Look at this man the man you thought would protect you." He said. I close my eyes. "No!" I shout. He shakes my head and I open my eyes. "I said look at him god dammit." "Aaron tell me it isn't true." I choke out as Caiden starts choking me. Aaron just stands there. I look deep into his eyes and saw an emotion I thought I'd never see in his eyes at this moment. He showed remorse he showed love he showed anger and most of all he showed regret. I closed my eyes as a single tear trickled down my cheek. " I'm sorry Reyna." He said all the sudden Caiden released me and I fell to the floor. I laid motionless on the ground. My breathing was shallow but all I could think about was that Caiden was telling the truth. Aaron never even bothered to explain it either. Instead I had to find out this way. I look over at the boys and see Aaron hit Caiden on the head then he comes over to me and picks me up. I recover some of my strength. "Aaron is it true?" I ask. Aaron looks at me. Then he nods. "I wanted to tell you but it was just every time you saw me you got so happy and I felt like you loved me I didn't want to hurt you." He said. I put my hand up to his cheek and hold it. "I still do." I say. He smiles all the sudden I see Caiden stand up. "Aaron look out!" I shout. Just as Aaron turns his head around Caiden knocks him out. He falls to the ground. I gasp and move Aaron so his head was laying on my lap. "You monster!." I scream at Caiden. I stroke Aaron's head and see blood trickle down his left temple. My eyes get watery. "Aaron please wake up...Aaron please wake up." I plead. All the sudden Caiden yanks me up and grabs my neck the last thing I see before I black out is Aaron laying on the ground. When I wake up I was tied to the bed and I was in nothing but my bra and underwear. I try to move but the rope prevented me from breaking loose. Where was I? this was completely new to me. I think Caiden moved me to another location or house or something. All the sudden the door opens and in comes Caiden. "Oh so your awake now." He smirked and got on top of me. "What a pity I was having so much fun when you were sleeping." He said. I spit in his face. "If you really loved me you wouldn't be doing this." I snarl at him. He eyes me and wipes off my spit. "Bad choice babe." He said as he beared his long Canine teeth. I gulped. He was just about to bite me when he stopped, all the sudden he licked my neck. I squirm underneath him but he advances and starts sucking on my neck. He pulls away. "I've waited so many months to do that to you. But every time it started you always pushed me off." He growled. I stare at him. I was speechless. Maybe Caiden would get his way and take me forever away from Aaron. Maybe right now Aaron was dead because of me. If I hadn't been so stupid as to see if the person howling was him maybe we wouldn't be in this mess. My mom and dad were probably worried sick. All the sudden Caiden gets off me. "Maybe next time I'll get further but for now you shall wait." He smirked and left the room. I pulled on the ropes hoping I could break them. I couldn't. But my hope is restored when I see a sharp metal edge sticking out from the bed post that I was tied to. I try to cut the rope and I am successful. Next I untie my feet and look around for my clothes but I can't find them. I start to hear footsteps so I quickly grab the sheet off the bed and climb out the window. The cold air wraps it's iced fingers around me. I shiver and hear Caiden yelling my name. I start running after awhile my legs get tired and I see an old abandoned house. I give it my all and run into the house. Once in there I see no one. I sigh and walk around maybe there was a phone in here. I walk into a room and see Aaron tied to a pole. Wait a minute this was the house I was in. I remember because I was tied to the same pole. I rush over to him. "Aaron oh my god wake up." I say as I untie his hands. I hug him and I hear him groan. I pull away and hold his head. He opens his eyes. "Reyna?" He questions but I cut him off by hugging him. "Aaron your alright I was so scared. I thought you were going to die! You can't leave me!" I cry. He hugs me. "It's okay I'm alright. It'll take a lot more than a hit on the head to kill me." He said. I close my eyes and hug him tighter. "I was so scared." I whisper. He pulls away. "Why are you in a blanket?" He asks. "Oh when I woke up I was tied to this bed and I was only in my bra and underwear." I say. He growls and I hug him. "But I'm okay Aaron I promise." I say. He stops growling and hugs me then he stands up and picks me up bridal style, my blanket falls off in the process. "Aaron what are you doing?" I question. He kisses me. "I'm getting you to safety. I don't want you to see any of the things I'm going to do." He said as he starts running through the woods. "Aaron don't leave me again." I say as he sets me down back at my house. "I can't hurt you if I'm not around." He said as he kissed me. "Goodbye." He whispered. I smack his face. "Ow! Reyna!" He growls. I put my hands on my hips. "Aaron I'm in love with you and I didn't go through all that pain from missing you just to lose you! Now you better stay by my side!" I say. He sighs. "Your not mine anymore you see once Caiden marked you he took you away from me. So it won't hurt when I leave you." He explained. I smack his face again. "Then make me yours again." I huff out. He stares at me. "Are you sure?" He asks. I nod my head. "Okay but this will hurt a lot more than Caiden's did." I step closer to him. "I'm ready if your ready." I say. He smirks and then bears his Canine teeth. I close my eyes as I feel the tip of his teeth brush against the spot where Caiden bit me. He licks it and I moan. He starts sucking on my neck. Then he bites down. I open my eyes but nothing comes out. The pain shoots through me. My legs get wobbly. Aaron pulls away. "Sorry babe but when you wake up you'll hurt for awhile." I fall into his arms and the world goes black.
