Chapter 16

I laid there staring at Aaron. "I... I can't really answer that right now." I say. Aaron nods and sits up. I sit up as well. "Aaron I know it must be hard but-" He suddenly cuts me off. "No Reyna there's no reason to explain any of this to me or yourself. In 3 days you'll be headed to the enemy pack and I'll be delivering you! See you then..." He says. He stands up and walks over to my door. "Aaron wait-!" I stand up and run toward him but he used his wolf powers and ran away to fast for me to catch him. I hit the wall with my fist in rage. "Dammit!" I shout. "Cursing doesn't suit you very well love..." Caiden says. I sigh and rest my head against the wall. "Not now Caiden just leave me alone!!" I say. "Okay but hey just so you know, Aaron is only doing this because he cares for you. In the end he'll protect you no matter the consequences because your his mate." Caiden says. I turn my head to look at him. "Shut up! I know that already..." I say. He sighs and then leaves. I sigh and then look at the alarm clock by my bed. 9:34 p.m. I sigh. Could my love life get any worse!? It's shouldn't be like this!!! I have a mate... a mate that thinks I've rejected him! Ugh why!!!?? I groan and plop back on my bed. "What am I gonna do!?" I ask myself. "Reyna?" I hear my mom say. I sigh and look at her. "What!?" I ask. She smiles at me and sits down beside me. "Honey I know it's a tough time but are you sure you can handle this? I mean I don't want you to lose your mate the way I almost lost your father... And not to mention I might lose my daughter to a rouge wolf capable of killing the strongest wolves I ever knew!" She said. I look at her and then sit up. "Wait what!? Aaron's parents are the stingiest wolves?" I ask. My mom laughs. "No, but they were one of the strongest packs. I hope it's still strong..." My mom trail off. I sighed. "Of course their strong mom, I have complete trust in the pack." I tell her. She nods and pats my leg. "Well tomorrow is the last full day of you being here!" She said, wiping her tear streaked face. I nod and my gut twists a bit but I tell myself I'll be fine and smile at her. "I'll be fine mom, really." I say. She nods again and stands up. "Well I'm going to be." She says. I nod and she leaves. I sigh in frustration and lay down again. I think I really hurt Aaron about the Luna thing. I grab a pillow and groan into it. I lay there a bit more before I take it off my face and lay there staring up at the ceiling. I probably just made things worse with Aaron. "Ugh I hate myself!!!" I grumble to myself. I sit up and grab my iPod and turn on my music. I lay there listening to my music the rest of the night. Sleep never comes to take me away. Suddenly I feel a cold breeze sweep across my room. I sit up and look around alarmed. Caiden comes into view and I glare at him. "What are you doing here!?" I ask, still angry at him. He laughs. "Oh come on don't be rude you won't have me here forever... You'll be going away in 2 days." He says. I keep my glare. "So what!?" I say and lay back down. "I'm just worried about you! Don't forget who tried killing you!" He warns I stand up and walk over to him. I was pissed now. "You did! When you and Aaron had your fight in Aaron's house, who was the one pinning me to the wall with a knife holding me there? Who threaten me!? Who hurt me when I use to care for you!!!??" I shout angrily. Caiden hangs his head in modest defeat as he nods his head. A slight smile on his lips. I sigh and smack his face. "You idiot don't tell me that my mate would hurt me!" I say. He nods again. "Sorry." He calmly says. I smack him again. "Get out of here!!!" I say. "Oh and before I leave, you don't have a mate anymore. Since you rejected Luna Aaron's off dying and your here bickering with me... Such a shame." Caiden said. I gasp. "A-Aaron's dying!! Oh my god!! Someone help him!!! Why aren't you helping him??!! I have to go find him!!" I say as I freak out I start heading toward the door but Caiden grabs my neck. "Sorry Reyna." He says before I suddenly black out.
