Chapter 14

I lay there completely lifeless all day. My mom and dad non stop tried getting me to do things like eat and drink and move and talk but I didn't. I was so depressed that nothing mattered to me anymore. I just laid there lifeless all day. A million sensation of what to say to Aaron and how he would react. My mom came in again around 1:32. "Honey Aaron's on the phone and he's also outside the front door." She said handing me my phone. I sigh and take out my ear bud. The song was Animals by Maroon5. I pause it and take the phone. I hold it up to my ear. "Aaron..." I whisper, I was a bit hesitant. "REYNA OH THANK GOD, I'VE BEEN HERE SINCE LAST NIGHT!!" He explains in exasperation. I start to tear up again. I walk over to my window and see Aaron standing at the front door. "Aaron please go home." I say in to the phone. Aaron instantly looks up to my bedroom window and I almost broke down when he cried out my name. Hot tears slowly streamed down my face. "Go home!" I force the words out of my mouth. I then slam the window shut and throw myself on the bed. I throw the phone to my mom. "Thank you, for ruining any chance I had of not crying today." I say sarcastically. My mom sighs and sits on the bed beside me. "Oh sweetheart. I can tell your hurting bad and I know for a fact that Aaron is feeling even worse and more pain of losing you. He kept telling me to tell you that he says he loves you and that your not a burden nor will you ever be a burden and that words can not express how hurt he feels and how he wants you back. Baby... Reyna... honey, I think you should just make up already." My mom says. I sigh. " I know it's just... It's just I'm nervous and scared and stubborn and stupid and I can't face him." I say in truth. My mom sighs and gives me a slobbery kiss on the forehead. "Come on you can do it, I know you can you are my daughter after all." My mom says, trying to encourage me. She gets up and leaves. I sigh frustratedly and lay there staring at the ceiling. Maybe I should apologize to Aaron and tell him I'm so sorry and that I'll never do this again and I love him so much and that I missed him like hell and... and... I'll tell him everything I've ever wanted to say to him, good stuff though, not any bad stuff. Hang on Aaron just let me think a bit more and get ready to face your painful eyes and heavy heart. I love you, hang on. I sit up and look out the window. Aaron was sitting there, all lonely and sad. He look tense too. I sigh and walk over to the window. I stare at him. I see Caiden suddenly walking toward Aaron. I slowly open the window. "Yo Aaron my lil bro!" Caiden says. Aaron stands up immediately. "What are you doing here!?" Aaron growls. "Oh you didn't know?" Caiden cocks his head. Aaron glares at him. "Know what!?" Aaron asked annoyed. Caiden smirked. "Me and Reyna are dating again." he said casually. I gasp but cover my mouth. That dirty little liar. I whip around and scan my room for something to throw at him. I find a baseball and chuck it at Caiden. Though I missed I still caught their attention. I find another object and chuck at him, hitting him right in the groin. "You shut up! You liar, we are not dating!!! You scumbag." I shout at him. I dash downstairs and open the door. I instantly jump toward Caiden ready to claw his eyes out but Aaron catches me and hold me back. "I hate you! Your lying you dirty little liar! And to think I almost forgave you! You shouldn't lie to people!!" I shout as I thrash around in Aaron's arms. I was so focused on killing Caiden that I forgot I was in Aaron's arms. "Reyna calm down its okay! I knew he was lying anyways." Aaron says. I stop and look at him. "Y-you knew?" I ask. Aaron smiles and nods. I pull his arms off me. "You think I'm worried about you thinking we're dating!? No I'm pusses about him saying that I'm his girlfriend when I clearly stated that I'm not dating anyone for a long long OMG long time!!!" I turn back to Caiden with a bitch face. He laughs nervously. Suddenly my mom speaks up. "Um why don't you three come inside and have breakfast with us." Since when did she get there?? I sigh and walk into the house. Aaron and Caiden follow and soon enough we are all sitting around the table silently eating breakfast. Dad looked at Caiden, mom looked at dad, I looked at mom, Aaron looked at me, and Caiden looked at Aaron. "So Caiden why are you here?" Dad asked. Caiden looked away from Aaron. "Oh well I was with my brother, sir." Caiden said. Dad nodded. "Well Caiden I sure hope your not here for my daughter!" Mom says warning him. I nibbled at my waffle. I desperately wanted Aaron's pancakes. That reminds me I need to get my stuff from his house. Wait omg pretty is still there!!! I gasp, inhaling my food causing me to choke. Everybody instantly looks at me as I continue to choke. I stand up and fumble for my cup of milk. I end up spilling it from my shaking hands so I dash to the kitchen sink. I turn it on and sick my mouth under it. I drink in the gross water finally my choking stops. I turn off the water and sigh as I stay there, my head hanging in the sink. I cough o clear my throat a couple of times. Once I'm done I sit back down but everybody is still staring at me. "What I was choking!" I defend myself. They keep staring at me. "And we need to get pretty back." I say calmly. "No!" Aaron and my dad both say at the same time. I stand up and put my dishes away. "Oh I think we will. Won't we mom?" I ask without turning to face her. "Yes." She says a bit hesitant. I turn around. "I'm going upstairs." I say. "Reyna wait!" Caiden says. I look at him. "And you can leave." I hiss at him. I run upstairs and then hop in the shower. I wash my body and stare at my scratches. Once I'm done I get out. I wrap a towel around me and remember I didn't bring any clothes. I cursed myself. I sneak into my room and once I get in there I see Ryder sitting on my bed. I scream and run back to the bathroom but I slip down the stairs and slide all the way down them on my butt. Ryder comes out laughing and Caiden, Aaron, mom, and dad all come rushing over. Aaron picks me up but the pain in my but forces him to hold me up. "Ryder what are you doing here!!" Aaron shouted. "Oh I just wanted to hang out with you but you weren't at the pack meeting, just Logan was there. So I followed your scent here." He says. "Well you could use the front door you freak!" I shout, clutching onto Aaron for support. His grip tightens. "Well I mean I heard a shower running so I thought I could sneak in, anyways that's beside the point, Aaron I'm mainly here to tell you that the red wolf has moved positions. He wants Reyna and if you give him Reyna then he'll stop attacking the pack." Ryder says. My mouth drops. "M-me!?" I say confused. Aaron growls lowly. "Never Reyna's mine!!" Aaron says. I look at Aaron and he looks at me. My face beats up. Truth was we both didn't know where we were. If we were together or still separated. "Hold up, let me get some clothes on and then we'll talk about this!" I say as I let go of Aaron. He lets go of me and notice I got his shirt wet with my hair. I blush even more and dash up stairs. I pass Ryder and slam my door in his face. After I get dressed we all gather around the kitchen table, talking about the red wolf. "So, he wants Reyna now?" He asks. Ryder nods. "Yeah man, but the pack can fight, were not giving up our only Luna. Besides she so cute to give up." Ryder smirks at me. I roll my eyes. "Hold on I'm going to mind link Logan." Aaron says. It's quiet for a little bit and then Logan is knocking at the door. Aaron lets him in and he comes in without Lily. "Where's Lily?" I ask. "I dropped her off at my house, I didn't want her coming to this pack meeting." Logan explains. I nod. Dang I was hoping she would come and support me. Whatever lets talk business now. "Alright so any news on the red wolf?" Aaron asks. "He changed his territory. He completely changed his battle plans. He had hundreds of rouges fighting with him, and their powerful too! We don't know where his camp is either we've lost all sight, he's killed our inner wolves that we had his pack. So now we have no idea what he's going to do or where he's at. All we know is that he wants Reyna." Logan says. Aaron nods. "Well we're going to have to fight, I'm not letting him have Reyna. Lets see, who could we send to get pack information from him. You said he has hundreds of rouges with him?" Aaron says. Logan nods. "Aaron the full moon is in 1week, we have to figure out what to do before then!" Ryder urges. I sigh. "Send me. He wants me and he'll get me, then you guys can track my scent and surprise attack him." I say. They all look at me. "No we can't risk getting you hurt!" Aaron says. I glare at him. "Aaron that may just work, all we need is 50 more pack members to come back from their studies and we'll be evenly matched. We're a string pack but only you can take on the red wolf." Logan says. Aaron looks at Logan then to me then back to Logan and back to me. He finally sighs. "I... I don't know... I guess we could do it but Reyna you'll have to follow my instructions exactly as I say." Aaron says. I nod. "Okay then it's settled." I say. "The question is... when will this all be taking place." Ryder asks. "On the full moon! You idiot!!"
