Chapter 18

When I wake up Aaron was gone. I sigh and get up and head downstairs. My mom smiles at me. "Well hello there sleepy head! Your trainer, Logan said he couldn't come today." My mom says. I nod. "That's okay I'll still train by myself... if I can...?" My mom smiles and I get busy helping. *sometime later* "There all done, hey Reyna wanna go shopping I need some food for the house. Your father won't be back from the pack meeting till late this afternoon." My mother said smiling her motherly smile at me. She seemed to be doing that quite a lot lately. I wonder why? I shake my head as I pet Tomoe our dog. I missed him, I remember the first day I came here and Tomoe and Inuyasha both were there when I met Aaron. Or when Aaron and I had our heated moments and Tomoe always growled at us. I smile, stuck in my daze of times with Aaron. "Honey I think you should go back and live with Aaron again." My mom said as she gave a sympathetic look that she did all the time since I've gotten back. "Mom I'm leaving tomorrow morning to go talk with the red wolf." I say. She touched my shoulder and nodded at me before leaving into town. I sighed, frustrated, as I plopped down on the couch. All the sudden the door opened and I heard my dad laughing and talking with someone. I stood and saw many of the pack members including Aaron with him, coming into the house! They all file in and Aaron caught my eye. I smile at him and greet my father. "Oh hey Luna nice to see you again, I've been missing your pretty face." Ryder says putting his arm around me. I could see Aaron get tense and give a low growl, making Ryder simply veer away as if nothing happened. They all went in and sat in the living room. "Father, mom told me you weren't going to be home until late afternoon." I say. My dad laughs loudly before telling me the meeting got done early and he invited the pack over. I simply nod. "Hey Reyna wanna make us some lunch?" My dad asks as he gestures to all of the pack members in the room. I hesitate but slowly nod. "Sure what would you like?" I ask. They all look at Aaron. "They want macaroni and cheese, sandwiches, and hot dogs as well, but you don't need to make that much for-" I cut Aaron off. "Non sense it's fine." I say. I smile directly at Aaron and he gives a small smile back. Hmm... He seems a little iff today... I walk into the kitchen and get out the biggest pot I could to boil the noodles in. I start boiling the water and look around for the noodles. Just my luck they were on the top shelf. I get a chair and reach for them. I smile as the day when Aaron came over after my dad tackled him. Oh how I was so worried for him, but now knowing that he's so strong and is a werewolf it seems foolish to worry over him like that. I sigh in my daze and suddenly slip off the chair. I brace myself for impact but I land in someone's strong arms. Fiery flames over take my body and I knew it was Aaron. I look up at him, speechless. He smiles. "Be careful." He says, I look at him. "Oh be quiet." I say turning away from looking at him as I blush. "Reyna your so cute!" Aaron teases. I look at him and stick my tongue out. He doesn't laugh or smile so I stop and lose my smile. "Alright now put me down so I can finish making lunch!" I say as I reach up and hug him. "Fine... I guess." He sighed dramatically and kissed me. He tried pulling away but I grab the collar of his shirt and pull him back down. Hey you can't blame me I felt like he was a bit tense and worried like! I wanted to comfort him and show him my love! He smirks as I kiss him and he pulls away again. I pout which makes him laugh. "See you in a bit babe." He says before leaving. I sigh and began to make lunch. After I'm done everyone piles in and cleans up every last bit of it. "Well thanks Luna and Jay." All of the pack said as they left. I sigh as I plop down on the couch. "Well that was nice of everyone to come over." My dad says. I look at him. "You didn't have to cook for everyone!" I say, sarcasm dripping off my lips. He laughs. "Sorry honey. Well I'm going to go find your mother." I give him a dead look. "Dad she went to town. I'm going to my room, later." I say walking up into my room. I click on my iPod and plug in my ear buds and turn on pandora. Animals by Maroon5 was playing. I couldn't help but jam out. After it ends I plop on my bed and get on to Pinterest while still listening to pandora. After an hour I close out of Pinterest and sigh. After that I decide to practice what Logan taught me. After an hour or so I get sleepy and lay back on my bed. Maybe I should move back in with Aaron. I mean we both have made up and were like we use to be. I yawn. Yeah I'll definitely go back to his house tomorrow. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. I sit up and rub my sleepy eyes. I open the door just when he's about to knock on it again. The joy and excitement burst through me and I can't hold back my smile of joy. "Aaron!" I shout as I jump on him and wrap my legs around his waist. I snuggle into his warm chest that smelled of guy cologne. Awwwww how I missed that smell. "Whoa Reyna!" He says shocked. I nudge his chest like a content cat would do. "Um... ok?" Aaron asks. I nudge Aaron again. "Reyna? Why are you hanging on me like this? Did I do something that turned you into a cuddly beast?" Aaron asks. "No I just missed you." I say. Aaron put his arms underneath me and held me up like a child. "Can we go home!!?" I ask. Aaron laughs. "Are you sure? Cause I don't know if I can keep you safe. I want to keep you safe so you never get hurt like that again!" Aaron says. "I really am sure, I'll be fine as long as I have you, plus I have defense stances and stuff!!" I say. I smile and cuddle into Aaron. He opens the door and starts walking. I was thinking about how Aaron and my name sounded together. Aaron and Reyna. Reyna and Aaron. Ahhhh so cute, wait I don't even know Aaron's last name! Wow I've known him this long and all I know is his family died in a rouge attack, that he's related to Caiden and Jacob, and that he's a werewolf who always goes to pack meetings. I'm the worst girlfriend ever!! I open my eyes and look at Aaron. We just left the house and were now heading to his house. He looks down at me and smiles before looking away again. "Aaron am I a terrible girlfriend?" I ask. Aaron looks at me with a strange look. "Why would you say that? Your the best girlfriend!" Aaron says. "Am I a good mate?" I ask. "You're the perfect mate and I couldn't get anyone better!" I blush and snuggle him again. It was silent for a few more moments until I spoke again. "Aaron what's your last name?" I ask. "Skylark." He says. Reyna Skylark? Oh I like that. "Why?" Aaron asks. I giggle. "Nothing." I say. He smirks at me but suddenly drops me down on the couch but I did not realize this and I screamed. "Aron you idiot! You scared me!!" I say. He laughs and lays next to me. I crawl on top of him and lay down. He wraps his arms around me. I yawn as his warmth spreads through my body. I smile contently. "Aaron and Reyna Skylark." I whisper gently as I fall asleep.
