Chapter 15

After the meeting Aaron asks for me to be trained in basic defense. Of course Ryder is the first to volunteer. Aaron and me were the first to shout no at the same time. So that left Caiden and Logan, so I picked Logan because I was still pissed at Caiden. after I picked Logan he showed me the defensive stance, how to block a punch and how to punch back. He also showed me a few kicks and how to escape when if I'm trapped in someone's arms. After he showed me and walked me through them he drilled me, making me do them for hours. Man he's a hard trainer!! Finally at the end of the day he left to go back to Lily. I sighed and plopped down on my bed. I was soooo tired. "How'd training go?" I hear Caiden ask. I look over at him. Him and Aaron had been here all day talking to my parents and discussing the details which was good because I still can't face Aaron. Not until I find a good and decent way to apologize for what I've done. I mean I basically stole his heart, ripped his heart out, tore it up, and tossed it back at him!! And what hurts even more is that he keeps telling me he loves me and I know he still deeply cares a lot about me. "It was super hard but I feel happy to know how to defend myself so I'm not helpless." I say sitting up and smiling. Wait no I'm mad at him!!! "But I'm still angry at you for what you pulled this morning!!" I say angrily. He laughs. "Oh come on, I was just messing with him." He says. I glare at him. "Aaron may have said that he knew you were lying but deep inside I know it hurt him to think I would go back to his pushy brother before I go back to him and that's why I'm so pissed at you!" I say, defending my mate. Caiden looks at me a little shocked. "Oh..." He mumbles. I smile in victory. "Yeah so think twice before you say stuff like that again!" I say annoyed. "Reyna can we talk?" Aaron asks, poking his head into my bedroom. When he sees Caiden in here a flash of hurt came into his eyes. I nod. Caiden leaves and Aaron comes in but as they pass each other they glare at one another. When Caiden leaves Aaron closes the door. "So what did you want to talk to me about?" I ask standing up. "Listen I know we're not technically back together and that your still mad at me but-" I cut him off. "I'm not mad at you I'm simply waiting till I get stronger to be back with you Aaron." I say with a smile on my face. He smiles back and nods. "Okay but about going into the rouge pack, I'm just worried, I know Logan has trained you a little today and I'm glad you choose him, I don't trust the others." I laugh. "But anyways I just want you to know that when we give you to the head rouge I'll give you my phone and I'll take yours." He says. I raise my eyebrow. "Why do we have to switch phones?" I ask. "It's so others in the pack can smell your scent easier." He explained. I nod but still give him a questioning look. "Then just give them my clothes." I say. Aaron laughs. "The pack doesn't take well to girls clothes." He says. "Oh... Okay well if that's all I'm gonna go shower." I say getting up. "Logan worked me hard, I sweated all day!" I say as I dig for my pajamas. When I find some I turn around only to crash into Aaron's lips. I stood there, not responding at first. I finally kissed him back but then pulled away. "I should get to the shower." I say. His eyes again show hurt. "Yeah sorry, I-it's just I miss you." He says stepping away and hanging his head. I watch him walk out of my room in shame. I forced myself to not jump on him and kiss him till I died!! A couple of minutes later I hear the front door close and I walk over to my window. I look out to see Aaron walking in the direction of where we first met. Wait that's it! I know how to make up to Aaron. I'll do it before we leave to go to the rogues. I giggle and walk happily to take a shower. After my shower I eat supper and start heading upstairs when my parents stop me. "Your acting pretty happy for someone whose risking their life and going through a rough patch with their mate." My mom says. I look at her. "Mom, seriously? Aaron and me are cool I'm just figuring out how to apologize and then we'll be back together, and I trust the pack they won't let any one hurt me." I say. They keep staring at me, not saying a word so I head upstairs and get on my iPod. I get on google and type in 'wolf pack'. I click on the first link. It was the definition of wolf pack. 'Pack (canine), a group of wolves that live, feed, and travel as a family group.' that's all it said. I sigh, I already knew that part. I go back to google and type in alpha. I figured Aaron is the alpha, let's see what they really are... 'The alpha wolf is a figure that looms large in our imagination. I search it and find out that Luna is the alphas mate and that once the alpha completely bonds with his mate then the alphas mate shall become alpha. I sat there. So when my bonding with Aaron is complete then I will become Luna? Whoa what the-!!!! I read on. 'Luna's job is closely related to the beta and alpha: to maintain order and make plans when the alpha, beta, or third in command is not there.' Whoa wait what!? I'm suppose to take over Aaron's crazy job when he's not able to!? Whoa that's... Gonna be hard!!! I set my iPod down and lay down on my bed. "I can't handle this!!!" I say to myself. "Handle what? Having second thoughts about going to the enemy?" I hear someone say. I shoot up and gasp but relax to see Aaron. "No it's not that it's just....." I trail off. Aaron smiles and walks over to me and sits down. "It's just what?" He prompts. I sigh. I guess there's no trying to hide this from Aaron heck he's the alpha!!! And I'm his Luna.... "It's just I was googling something and well I kinda found out something about the pack..." I say. Aaron raises his eyebrow. "Oh? And what did you find out?" He asks confused.
