Thanks for sticking with me. I love how many people have read my story in such a short time. This chapter is a little longer, but I hope you all enjoy. I would really appreciate it if you would comment and let me know what you think.

Sophia's Point of View

When we got to the abandoned warehouse the adrenaline was coursing through my veins faster than I could comprehend. When I got off the back of EZ's motorcycle my legs were shaking and I had to reach out for EZ's shoulder as a wave of dizziness rushed through me. My heart was racing and the panic was starting to set in. I wondered if I was going to be able to go through with this. EZ rushed to my side, placing his hands on my shoulders and looking into my eyes. I got lost in his deep brown eyes for a moment, secretly wishing that I was with him somewhere, anywhere but here.

"You ok, Soph?" EZ asked, the concern evident in his voice.

"I'm ok," I replied as confidently as I could, "The absurdity and ridiculousness of what I am about to do just set in. I can't believe I am about to save the person that killed my parents."

"Hey, boy scout," Coco called out as he grabbed something from one of the storage compartments on his bike, "Can I borrow Sophia for a minute?"

"She's all yours," he called back.

I gave him a reassuring smile before I made my way over to Coco. He looked me over closely for a moment before he opened the small bag in his hand. There were two syringes in it with a murky looking liquid. I looked up at him curiously, knowing that what I was looking at was going to be what I killed this man with.

"What is it?" I asked him quietly.

"It's tainted heroin," Coco replied, "I got two just in case, but you're only going to need one. All you do is inject it like you would the antibiotics and wait for it to kick in. You are essentially injecting pure poison into his body and poison doesn't need to be injected into a vein to kill."

I knew before Coco even started speaking that I wasn't going to like his explanation, but I guess beggars can't be choosers. I asked for his help and he didn't fail to deliver.

"It isn't going to be pretty, Sophia," Coco said quietly, "Are you sure you want to do this?"

"I know it's going to suck, Coco," I hissed, "but I need to do this."

"Alright then, let's get this over with."

He led me to the warehouse and the rest of the crew followed behind. I reached for Coco's hand as we entered the cold, dark warehouse. Angel flicked on one of the lights and the group gathered together at the front of the building.

"We get him treated and then we get Sophia out as quick as possible," Angel stated, "She doesn't need to be near this guy anymore than necessary."

Secretly, I agreed with Angel. I didn't want to be there and I just wanted to get in and get out as quick as possible, but something told me it wasn't going to be that cut and dry. Everyone agreed with Angel and then Coco led me through a maze of empty boxes and shelves to the back left corner of the building. There was a blanket in the corner and then just off to the right of the blanket was a metal pole that the man was chained to. The man was sitting down, leaning against the wall and there was a black sack covering his head. His head barely lifted as we approached.

"Good morning," Coco said as he walked over to him and kicked him in the leg, "Hope you slept well."

The man responded with a grunt.

"We have someone here who is going to help with the infection," Angel stated, "And then we'll come back later to get some answers from you."

"Actually, carnal..." Coco interjected, "There has been a change of plans."
