FEAR OF LOSING YOU

In class..

  It was 2nd hour going on.Zami's attention was not at all in class. It was noticed by Zak and Meh. Though they asked, Zami brushed it off. Her mind was fully crowded with LUBOID's thoughts! Professor also noticed that. Before he could call Zami, Principal entered the class along with Luboid. Everyone stood up. The sight of Lub made Zami froze. Principal cleared his throat.

Princi:"Good morning students"

Everyone:"Good morning sir."

Princi:"This is Luboid. He is our old student. Now he has rejoined here for higher studies. I brought him here to introduce him to all because he is going to be  the  STUDENTS's CHAIRMAN for the next 2 years. I think no one would object"

As no one was was willing for chairman post due to its duties, everyone agreed.

Princi:"Good. Your class was the last to inform."Princi turned towards Lub. "Congrats Luboid. This year also you won. Welcome back. Now the class is yours. Carry on."

LUB:"Thank you sir"Lub turned towards students."Guys, as Principal said I'm Luboid Jabalah. Most of you would have known me. Right?"

Some students:"Yes Luby."Luboid smiled at his nick name.

LUB:"Thank you for remembering me guys.Now I will keep going.Will meet later".

At the same time bell rang and everyone were exiting the class. Lub was standing at the class entrance. On seeing him, Zami paused.Lub looked straight into her eyes.

LUB:"So, you remember this place?"

ZAMI:"I..I.. I...I'm sorry for what happened that day."

LUB:"Sorry? You think you desreve that?"He became angry."You very badly insulted me on that day for no mistake of mine infront of my juniors. You know how humiliated I felt? I felt of dying."

 At the mention of word dying, Zami's head snapped towards Lub.

ZAMI:"Please don't talk about dying. I feel guilty".    Lub laughed sarcastically.

LUB:"Wow wow wow. What an acting? I'm quite impressed. If I had'nt known you I would've surely fallen for your tricks, but not now".

ZAMI:"I'm not acting. I really felt very bad for my behaviour that day. After I realized my mistake I searched for you to ask forgiveness. But you were gone".   Lub clapped his hands while circling Zami.

LUB:"Oh! You got to know that you did a mistake?. Wow. That's a news. Really. You know what I went through for 1 whole month? You can't even imagine. More than your action, your words hurt me more." He whisphered the last line.

Although the last lines were a mere whispher, Zamina heard it clearly. She lowered her eyes and her eyes started to tear up. She was fighting hard to blink back her tears. She opened her mouth to say something but stopped when she saw students returning. Lub left from there before anyone could see them. Zami too turned to go back to the class. One week passed. All the while Zami tried to ask forgiveness from Lub who kept avoiding her. Though she was hurt she didn't show it to anyone oblivious to the fact that one soul witnessed everything.

MEH:"Zami, next week exams are starting. Are you ready?"

ZAK:"Why wouldn't she? Ofcourse she will be the topper LIKE ALWAYS."

 Zami just smiled without replying anything. Slowly, they came out of the college.

MEH:"Hey Zami,can we all meet at your home this weekend?"Like nightout?"

ZAK:"I'm in it."   They looked at Zami who was lost in a trance. Zak shook her and she jerked.

ZAK:"Are you ok with it?"  Zami just nodded.

At the same time, Lub & his gang too decided for a hangout during the weekend at Lub's home. 

After two days, In college...

Peon entered the class with a circular. Professor read that aloud.

Prof:"Lub has requested for an assisstant for his Chairman post. Top 3 students of this batch has been selected. Zamina,you are one among them. Get ready for interview which will be conducted at 3.00 P.M next Monday.

The whole class cheered for her. Mehak & Zakwan hugged her tightly. Zamina didn't know how to react. She was in a confusion whether to be happy to be an assisstant for chairman or worried that she may have to work with Luboid. Keeping every thought aside for a while, she reciprocated the hug and smiled widely.

ZAK:"Wow. After a loooooooooooongerrrrrrr time, we are getting a glimpse of our old Zami"

MEH:"Yes. You are right".     That's when Zami realised how much she had missed her friends. She decided to go with the flow and backed up to her old self.

Weekend...

Both the gangs crashed out in thier respective destinations. After a delicious dinner, Meh,Zak,Zami settled in Zami's room. At the same time Arham & Shehad settled in Lub's living room couch.

MEH:"Care to explain what is going on between you and Lub?" Zamina was shocked beyond core at this question. She became numb.

 The same question was asked to Luboid by Arham for which he became silent. Both the souls didn't know how to react and became silent spectators.
