FEAR OF LOSING YOU

Sensing someone behind her,Zami turned,only to see Lub walking towards her.She looked at him confused.Before Lub could reach her,college bell rang and Lub went from there.Looking at retreating Lub for few seconds,Zami went back to her class thinking about what future held for her.Day went off gradually.Both Lub and Zami didn't meet each other for few days and life carried on.

Saturday...

     Mehak ran towards Zami & hugged her tight which caught Zami off guard.

ZAMI:"What happened?You seem too happy"

ZAK:"You really don't know why?"   Zami nodded her head sideways.

MEH(Hitting Zami's head playfully):"Tomorrow is your birthday.Buddhu!"

ZAK:"Don't say you forgot your b'day."

ZAMI:"I really DID FORGET!I was caught up with something in these few days"

ZAK:"With someTHING or someONE?"

ZAMI:"What?"  Meh nudged Zak to keep quiet.

ZAK:"Uh.Nothing.I asked if you were caught up with your duties as student's representative?"  Meh sighed and glared Zak,who held his ears.

ZAMI:"Okay okay"

MEH:"What is tomorrow's plan?"

ZAMI:"Dad told that he is taking me somewhere to surprise me"

MEH:"Okay.Enjoy.And advance Happy Birthday dear"

ZAK:"Yes.Have a happier happy birthday and enjoy your day  our dear Zamiya" He sang.Zami smiled on hearing her nickname after a long time.They chatted for sometime and the classes went on.

Sunday...

     Mehak & Zakwaan dialled Zamina at sharp 12.00 A.M. & again at 8.00 A.M. and wished her which made Zami's day.Next she got her parent's blessings  and they(DANISH KHAN & MARWAH KHAN) took her to an orphanage named AASHIYANA.Zami was surprised as why her parents brought her here.

DANI:"Zami,every year we will celebrate your b'day by cutting cake and conducting parties.But this year,let's spend your day here by sharing our happiness with these children."

MAR:"Yes Zami.Instead of wasting money on unnecesary parties,we could contribute something to such orphanages.It gives us happiness,blessings & satisfaction.Come let's go inside" 

     Khan family distributed sweets & chocolates to all children.They also arranged lunch and new clothes for all  the children in the orphanage.Soon it became noon.Zami was at the back of orphanage while Mr. & Mrs. Khan were looking around the orphanage.That's when they came across a boy who was around their daughter's age.He was also distributing food and snacks to the children.They slowly went towards him.Danish tapped his shoulder and the boy turned around.He was Arham.

ARH:"Yes sir"

MAR:"Beta,are you visiting here often?"

ARH:"My name is Arham Ahuja sir.Not me but I'll accompany my friend who comes here once in a month"Seeing huge quantities,Marwah asked,

MAR:"Do you and your friend do this alone?"

ARH:"No we are totally 3 in number.Me,my friends Luboid and Shehed.Actually my friend Luboid is an orphan.But is wealthy.So he often comes here and does his best.We have workers appointed to help us.But we also give personal attention too"

    Hearing about Luboid,Mr. & Mrs. Khan felt bad and also a respect grew for these 3 youngsters especially Luboid.

LUB:"Arham,is everything okay?"When he neared Arh he saw Mr. & Mrs. Khan. Shehed followed Luboid.

ARH:"They are my friends.Luboid Jabalah & Shehed Jhan."  On seeing them Lub & Sheh folded their hands and said hello.

MAR:"You all are doing a great good deed dear.We are happy that today's generation has some concern towards society"Lub,Arh & Sheh smiled at her.After speaking for sometime they parted ways.

     Mr. & Mrs.Khan kept on speaking about Lub & his friends.Zami wondered who these 'PARTICULAR PERSONS'were who grabbed her parents attention.She thought of asking that afterwards and went to serve lunch.At evening everyone started towards their home.Mr. & Mrs.Khan went forward to get the car while Zami stayed back to bid byes.

     At the same time Arh & Sheh went forward leaving Lub behind to take care of formalities. When Zami exited the orphanage she felt an unfamiliar feeling.She was unable to comprehend what was that.She turned around to see whether there was someone known to her.Finding none, she went out and boarded the car & left to home.

     On the other hand,Luboid who was about to exit the orphanage,noticed that Zami too was heading towards exit.He wondered how she was here and whether it was a COINCIDENCE OR 'SOMETHING OTHER THAN THAT'.When he saw her turning,he hid behind a pillar.He noticed something in her face which did something to him.After confirming that she left the place,he too left to his home.Unknown to him,two pairs of eyes witnessed his 'this behaviour'.

     Meanwhile Arh & Sheh came to know that it was Zami's b'day & that's why she was at orphanage with her parents & it was Zami's parents with whom they talked today.Planning something,Sheh began a conversation which could be clearly heard by Luboid.

SHEH:"Arham,you know one thing?Today is Zamina's b'day"   That made Arh to raise his eyebrows.Seeing Sheh winking,he joined the club.

ARH:"Yes yes.Did you wish her?"

SHEH:"Ofcourse I texted her.What about you?"

ARH:"Same here"    While talking Arh & Sheh observed Lub's behaviour from the corner of their eyes.They noticed Luboid freezing at the mere mention of Zami's name.Throughout the whole conversation Lub was looking here & there unable to concentrate at one particular thing.

     Unknown to him,Lub's reaction made two souls happier.They hi-fied each other.Seeing Lub coming out,they changed topic.

SHEH:"Lub,did you wish Zamina?"

ARH:"Ofcourse he would have.Anyhow she will be working with him from tomorrow right?"

LUB:"Working together?"

ARH:"Yup.You are the chairman & she is student's representative.Remember?"

   Lub who was lost in his thoughts nodded his head absent mindedly.

SHEH:"Hey,did you wish her or not?"

LUB:"I..I..I...I wi wished her"

ARH:"Really?When?Whole day you were with us.We didn't see you using your phone."

LUB:"Oh!Did I say I wished her now?"

ARH & SHEH:"Yup"

LUB:"Ya ya.I wished her at at home.Yes home.Before coming to orphanage"

ARH:"Oh ok.Sheh,you believed right?"   She nodded yes vigorously.

LUB:"It's 6.00 P.M. I think you guys should get going.Or else it would be late"

ARH & SHEH:"Yes yes yes sir" They bid byes & left.

LUB:"Today is Zami's birthday & I didn't know that?"   He sat    thinking.
