FEAR OF LOSING YOU

LUB: "Are you really not happy Zami?" There was no reply from her. He completely came out of the hug & started moving backwards. Zami was still watching him  not doing anything.

LUB: "Why Zami?Did I do anything wrong?"

ZAMI: "Ofcourse you did. If you confessed, I should accept it? Nah! Never. You made me wait and avoided me too. So now earn my forgiveness"

LUB: "What?I should earn your forgiveness? That's it?. It is so simple. I can" 

   But he was cut off.

ZAMI: "Not so soon Mr.Luboid. From now on you will get to know my other side. I'll make sure it will really be tough to handle me from hereon. So get ready. All the best. Bye Luboid"

     Saying so she went from there leaving an amused Luboid behind. He was thinking about what HIS Zami said & smiled to himself. Then he noticed that she was coming back to him.

ZAMI: "And get ready to tell about YOUR CONFESSION to our friends. You very well know their reaction for this right?So....... be aware. Especially MEHAK. Bye"

    The thought of MEHAK made him gulp hard.

LUB: "After lot of courage & struggle I confessed my love. But this girl had to disturb it. (Smiling) Whatever. But at the end of the day,she is MY GIRL.

   Lub decided to open this matter after completing their exams. He wished to survive till he completes his exams. He knew,opening the truth now might cost his life or atleast his health. He'll surely land in hospital if Mehak & Zakwan comes to know about this. Zami stayed silent all the while waiting eagerly to know what Lub has decided to do. She went with the flow. Soon exams got over & leave started. Lub thought that HIS REAL EXAM IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!

   One fine Sunday,Lub called everyone & planned to meet at a restaurant that evening. Though everyone had a faint idea about THAT SUDDEN MEETING, they didn't voice out. The difference in their friend's behaviour gave them clues but didn't put their fingers on. They waited till the truth unfolds on its own.

   As planned, everyone gathered at the restaurant, sharp at 5.00 P.M.  Everyone were present except the host himself!

ARH: "Where the hell did this idiot go?"

SHEH: "He called us here, but he himself is not here. Stupid fellow"

ZAK: "Guys, let's wait for sometime"

MEH: "Yes. Who knows he might have stuck in some Important Situation!"

   Everyone gave Mehak a weird look, seeing her supporting Luboid. That too FOR THE FIRST  TIME. But Zami doubted Mehak's new behaviour. She thought something was there but didn't knew what. She gave a skeptical look to Mehak. Realising what she blurted out, Mehak tried to cover it up. Before she could speak anything, Lub entered.

LUB: "I'm very very very sorry guys. I shouldn't have let you all wait"

ARH: "Good that you remembered that you summoned us here"

SHEH: "And ofcourse you should be sorry"

ZAK: "Leave it yaar. It's just a matter of 15 minutes. Let him speak first"

LUB: "Thanks buddy"

   After everyone placed their orders, Lub started speaking. All this while Zami was a silent spectator & Lub didn't even spared her a glance. Not that she minded. Coz, she knew he is upto something.

LUB(After taking a long breath): "I'm in love with Zami"

   He expected gasps & gapes from his friends but found none,which confused him.

LUB: "Why aren't you all saying anything? Something?"

ARH: "What do you want us to say?"

ZAK: "This isn't a new news. All of us knew this much much earlier. So there will be no shocks or surprises. OK?" She said sarcastically.

    Everyone else had the same expression too. Lub decided that it's the time to open up the real news!

LUB: "I love Zamina Khan AND  I proposed her" He said those words looking straight into Zami's eyes. That brought a wide smile on her face and a contented sigh. She lowered her eyes and a slight blush crept across her face. Everyone were awestruck at that cute moment.

LUB: "Did I earn your forgiveness now?"  He asked anxiously.

    Zami slightly nodded her head still with downcast eyes. A million dollar smile adorned Lub's face. He felt at top of the world that he had achieved HIS LIFETIME GOAL! That brought everyone out of their reverie. Once reality struck them, everyone's attention turned towards Lub. He sat straight getting ready to face HIS FRIENDS!

ZAK: "Care to explain?"

LUB: "Sure. But I want you all to listen to me patiently & fully.OK?"

   Everyone nodded.

LUB: "Do you all remember that day when I ordered lunch for everyone except Zamina at our canteen?"   Everyone nodded & Zami looked towards him.  "I didn't really mean to hurt her. I wanted to talk to her A.L.O.N.E.  By doing so, I thought everyone would leave us alone understanding my gesture. But, you all being stupids, turned the scenario upside down"  He huffed in annoyance & everyone were dumbfounded at his explanation & smiled sheepishly.

ARH,MEH,SHEH,ZAK: "We are sorry"  Lub smiled.

LUB: "It's okay. And after that Zami was"  He stopped abruptly & Zami's eyes were about to pop out. He composed himself & changed the sentence quickly.  "After that I went to basketball ground because Zami was moving towards there"

      His this sentence made Zami's heart swell with pride & happiness and her respect on him increased tenfolds. She smiled involuntarily. And then Lub continued & explained about his confession & their union. Everyone were on cloud nine upon hearing this news. But, Meh had a doubt!
