FEAR OF LOSING YOU

     After few minutes of pacing, Danish turned towards Lub whose heart was racing at an uncontrollable speed & he involuntarily stood up. Marwah too was anxious.

DANISH: "What is the age difference between you two?" Lub was genuinely confused at this question, yet he answered.

LUB: "2 years sir"

DANISH: "Hmm. So,you aren't still settled in your life yet. Right? How can I give my daughter's hand to you when you aren't settled? You may ask time to set your life & career. But what is the guarantee that you will settle within that time period?"

MARWAH: "Danish, what are you" But Danish didn't let her complete.

DANISH: "Wait Marwah. He is asking for our daughter. So isn't it our duty to make sure that her future is secured?"  Marwah became silent.

    Lub understood the situation and felt happy for Zami to have such wonderful parents.

LUB: "Sir, can I speak now please?"

DANISH: "Sure. Please take your seat"  He told Lub & he himself sat on the sofa.

LUB: "Sir, do you know AD INDUSTRIES? 

DANISH: "Ofcourse. Who won't know them? They are one of the most SUCCESSFUL & HONEST BUSINESSMEN & EXCEL IN EVERY FIELD THEY STEP INTO. They do business in almost all areas of business"   He said with respect dripping in his voice for AD INDUSTRIES & Lub's heart swelled with pride.

LUB: "DO you know what does AD stands for?"   Danish nodded negatively while Lub continued.

   "Abbas Jabalah & Dua Jabalah" He said with his head held high.

        Danish stood up from his place and Marwah was amazed.

DANISH: "It means they are your parents?" Danish asked in a daze & Lub nodded smiling and his face depicted a different glow. Glow of pride and honesty.

MARWAH: "But they passed away a few years ago. Then?"

  Lub's smile faltered for a second but came back again. This was noticed by both Danish & Marwah and felt guilty.

MARWAH: "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to"

LUB: "No. It's okay. Don't be sorry"

DANISH: "If they are your parents, then who is handling ALL BUSINESSES of AD industries?"    

LUB: " I  AM. It's me who is handling AD industries's businesses since my parents passed away"

   Now that was something new & a big blow to Danish & Marwah. They were spellbound & didn't know how to react upon this situation. There was a CONTENT SMILE on Lub's face.

LUB: "Urm Sir?"  He called a bit louder to bring Danish out of his trance. "Now are you assured of your daughter's future? Do you have the faith that Zamina will be happy with me & I will take care of her till eternity?" 

DANISH: "Yes my son. I'm assured and I'm ready to get my daughter married to you wholeheartedly. What do you say Marwah?" 

MARWAH: "I'm so happy that my daughter is going into safe hands. I'm ok with this marriage" 

LUB: "Thank you sir. Thank you so much aunty. Seriously. You both don't know what you both had done to me. Right now, I'm THE HAPPIEST MAN ON THIS EARTH. Thank you a lot sir & aunty"

DANISH: "Ok ok son. Stop your thank you session & call us mom and dad" 

   Lub was literally in tears. Danish hugged Luboid & both of them blessed them.
