FEAR OF LOSING YOU

Tree house-Near Arham's & Shehed's home-5.00 p.m

ZAK:"So,why are we here?"

SHEH:"I want to tell an important thing to all of you"

ARH:"And what is that?" Sheh took a deep breath.

SHEH:"Zami don't have just feelings for Lub"

ARH,MEH,ZAK:"What?"   They shouted almost deafening her.

SHEH:"Don't shout" She closed her ears.  "And please listen to me & let me complete. I was saying that Zami don't" But she was cut off.

MEH:"Are you blind?" 

ARH:"Can't you see the truth?"

ZAK:"Have you lost it?"

SHEH:"Stop it.Stop it all of you" She shouted at the top of her voice thereby silencing all.After composing herself,she continued.    "I said Zami doesn't have JUST(she stressed) feelings for Lub.But she LOVES him"

ARH,MEH,ZAK:"What?"  This time it was not a question out of fury but out of surprise.Each spared a glance at Sheh & she nodded clearing their doubts.All the 4 jumped up and down in joy with a huge grin on their faces.

After few seconds...

ZAK:"Shit!We almost forgot him"

MEH:"Let's not waste time.Come.Let's go and search for him"

    Everyone left the tree house and went in search of Lub.They first reached the auditorium. There he was.All the four sighed hard in relief which was short lived.The state in which they saw him.... just took their breath away.Lub was sitting at the darkest corner of the auditorium with his knees folded towards his chest and hiding his face in between that.His arms circled his knees and he looked........... MISERABLE.Without wasting  a second.the four reached & kneeled down before him.

     Sensing some presence beside him,Lub looked up to see who they were.On seeing his & her friends,he felt relieved.Next moment,he hugged  Arham as if his life was depending on him & cried his heart out.On seeing that Zak too lent his shoulders which Lub accepted whole heartedly. 

    The scene unfolding infront of them,brought tears in the eyes of Meh & Sheh.They cried silently not knowing what to do.After what felt like ages,the trio broke the hug.Zak rushed outside to fetch water bottle for Lub.She returned in minutes & handed it to Lub which he gulped in one go.Slowly,his cries started subsiding and he started blabbering.

LUB:"I lost her"  He mumbled.

ARH:"Uh?"

ZAK:"Sorry,what did you say?I can't understand"

LUB:"I LOST HER"  This time he shouted making others flinch.

ARH:"No Lub.You didn't lose her"

LUB:"I didn't lose her?" He laughed sarcastically.  "Didn't you hear what she said?" He questioned back.

MEH:"We clearly heard what she said.That's why we are saying that you didn't lose her" Lub looked up for a second & hung his head low.

LUB:"No.You didn't understand her"

SHEH:"Oh.So you understood her well?" She asked sarcastically folding her hands across her chest. Lub had nothing to say.

 ARH:"C'mon buddy.Listen to us just for once"

LUB:"No.She left me.I lost her.I failed to trust her.She left me.I lost her"

   He kept on blabbering without paying heed to anyone's words.None knew what to do.They were clueless .    After sometime...

ZAK:"Um.Arham?"

ARH:"Yes Zak"

ZAK:"Can we go and see what Zami is doing?"

MEH:"Yes.We are really worried for her.Don't know what she must be going through right now"

   Mere mention of 'HER' caught Lub's attention.That's when he realised that she too was badly affected by the recent events.Though he wanted to go and meet her,he didn't have the strength & courage to do that.He sat there listening to their conversation.

SHEH:"Yes.We should see her too.You both go and see her.We will join soon"

ZAK:"No.You first take care of Lub.We will deal with Zami.And she may also need some space" He said the last sentence looking at Lub.Luboid lowered his eyes at that statement.After bidding bye to Arh & Sheh & consoling Lub,Zak & Meh left the auditorium to look out for Zami. 

      Zak & Meh rushed to Zami's house and got relieved seeing her there.

Meanwhile.....

ARH:"Luby.Will you listen to us for sometime please?"  Lub just stared without saying anything.

SHEH:"Please Lub.For us.For our Friendship.Please?"  Still no response.

ARH & SHEH:"For Zamina" And that earned a response from Lub.He slowly nodded.

ARH & SHEH:"Not only for Zami,but also for you too" Lub gave a confused look while Arh & Sheh passed knowing smiles.

Zamina's home.....

      Zamina's parents were not at home.They went for a function and will return next day as it was Sunday.Zak & Meh entered Zami's room with nervousness.They had no idea how she will react and how they will face her.They opened her room door and were shocked at her behaviour. There Zami was sitting,carassing SOME ALBUM and a small smile was playing on her lips.Next minute it turned into a frown and next into a sad smile and finally a tear drop slipped from her eye.

    Zak & Meh were standing at Zami's room door and contemplating whether to go inside or not. They were afraid to go inside but at the same time worried for her.Her behaviour bewildered them as well as intimidated them.They were unable to see their friend in such a state.Her state was not less than that of Lub which they witnessed few hours ago.After a long battle both decided to enter Zami's room.

     While entering her room,Zak & Meh heard Zami's voice and saw her speaking to herself.They passed confused glances and were about to go near her,when her next words froze them.

ZAMI:"Why did you leave me?I always waited for you.But you.You cheated me.You betrayed me.I HATE YOU for that.I  hate you hate you hate you hate you hate you hate you for that"  By then Zak & Meh reached Zami.On seeing them,Zami hugged both of them as tight as she could and broke down.Tears were unstoppable from Zami's eyes and that pricked the other two hearts.They felt helpless not knowing how to solve this issue.
