FEAR OF LOSING YOU

It took SEVERAL MINUTES for Luboid to understand what Zamina said.He was taking his own sweet time to allow her words to sink in his mind.

LUB:(Self-talk)"What the hell happened now?What was she saying?She was hurt with my questions?She has turned the tables around!Wait.Hurt!How did I hurt her?When did I hurt her?How could I even think of hurting her?His train of questions came to an end when the truth struck him!

OFCOURSE I WAS THE ONE WHO HURT HER  A L W A Y S.Whenever she awaited for my answers,I turned my back towards her.I was the one who questioned her & at the same time,I was the one who ran away like a COWARD fearing for the answer.Damn it!

   His self-cursing session went on for a while and again reality slapped him hard."Idiot Luboid. Go and pacify her stupid" He chided himself and ran towards his...hmm...... Ahan! towards Zamina!:):)

    He searched throughout the wing but he couldn't find her anywhere.He wondered where did she go.That's when he heard the bell.He got to know that she might have gone to her class and obviously he was right!Soon everyone left for the lunch.He marched towards Zami's class and saw the trio having 'THEIR' time.Seeing Lub,Zak & Meh went out of class giving a LAME EXCUSE to Zami.Zami was packing her bag when Lub approached her.

LUB:"Why did you run away?" Zami was startled at first upon hearing someone's(HIS's voice) behind her.She quickly regained her composure.

ZAMI:"What do you want?" Anger was clearly evident in her voice accompanied by another emotion.Was that erm.....Hurt?!

LUB:"We were talking about something but you ran away in the middle?"

Zami now fully turned and stood infront of Lub,folding her hands and A CONFIDENT LOOK on her face.For some reasons,that LOOK made Luboid gulp!

ZAMI:"Ya.You were saying something" Lub just stared at her without saying anything.Seeing that Zami sighed and continued.

ZAMI:"Speechless are we?Fine.Let me speak for you.Ok?"  She gave a SPOOKY smile!  "So you were talking about ME," she paused and pointed her finger towards her "running away?" then what should we name the behaviour you have?BRAVERY?COURAGE?CONFIDENCE? or WHAT?" She shouted at him unaware of 4 pairs of eyes witnessing the scene.Nothing was visible to her at that moment except her anger and frustration ON HIM,& TOWARDS HIM.

LUB:"Zami look I" But he was abruptly cut off.

ZAMI:"It's Ms.Khan for you Mr.Jabalah"    She pointed her finger towards Lub stepping forward & making Lub move backward.He saw an unexplainable emotion in her eyes which would not comprehend but INTIMIDATED HIM to THE CORE.He didn't speak & let her pour herself out.  

"Why are you silent now?Haan?You always pestured me with questions right?Listen carefully. Everytime you asked that,I was READY with an ANSWER.But you ran away.Now I'm ready with answer.But,are you ready to listen to it?To hear it?Answer me damn it.Open your stupid mouth now"

     She yelled at him as no one was there in the class & still there was MORE TIME for the lunch hour to end.By now,she cornered him between the two walls of the class.She was panting after all the shouting.   Luboid never ever saw such a side of Zamina.Not even he dreamt,then forget about seeing.His throat went dry.He feared even for gulping.He don't know what to speak and how to speak.He was stammering and above all,her stares were not at all helping him.The WITNESSES felt that the situation was now going out of their hands and decided to intefere.All the four entered at the same time and cleared their throats.Lub and Zami looked at them & moved away.Lub sighed audibly which earned a glare from Zami.

LUB:"What are you guys doing here?"Sheh nudged Arh to speak something.

ARH:"We came searching for you"

ZAMI:"And you two?"

ZAK:"Same.We were waiting for you in canteen.But you didn't come.So we came searching for you"

Mehak & Shehed nodded their heads like little kids.

ZAMI:"Hmm.Really?" She cocked her eyebrow skeptically.

ARH:"Ofcourse.Why are you doubting on us?"

ZAMI:"No.No sir.I was just" But she was cit off.

ARH:"Sir?Am I that old?" He asked astonished for which Sheh rolled her eyes.

SHEH:"Yes.Please call us bu our names or any other names.But not sir or maám.We feel aged" That made everyone chuckle.

ZAMI:"Ok.Fine.Now,shall we all go out for lunch?Everyone are hungry right?"

   To prove that,all 3 boys's stomachs grumbled which made all the 3 girls to burst out laughing. Boys smiledd sheepishly scratching their necks.

LUB:"Yes.Yes.Let's go" Everyone agreed and moved out.Last was Lub,following Zami.He was looking down & walking which made him bump into Arh.

ARH:"What the hell did you do?" He whispher yelled.Lub was taken aback.

LUB:"What?I didn't do anything"

ARH:"Don't you dare lie or else" He stopped seeing Zak coming towards them.

ZAK:"Are you guys not coming?" 

ARH & LUB:"Ofcourse we are" Now,Zak cornered Lub which confused him.

ZAK:"I don't know what happened between you two.But if you dare hurt her,you will(he paused and his expression changed to anger) SEE THE WORST OF ME.She is like my sister.Like?Scratch that.She IS MY sister.If you want to near her,you SHOULD CROSS ME.Don't forget.

    After a nerve wrecking threat,Zak left Lub with a galloping heart.After a good few minutes of consoling his heart,he stepped forward only to be confronted by Mehak & Shehed.

LUB(In mind)"Oh.No!Not again.Please God.Why me today?No wonder even if I get an heart attack today"After whisphering sweet nothings to himself he gained non-existing courage & faced the girls.

MEH & SHEH:"Dear Bro" They said sweetly which calmed Lub's mind.But he was wrong.Both the girls clutched his collars & bet him on both shoulders hard.He cried out in pain & begged for release.After few punches,they left him.

LUB:"What was that for?" He massaged his shoulders and asked.

MEH & SHEH:"For hurting Zami"

LUB:"God.What is happening arounds me?I'm getting bashed continuously for no mistake of mine.   "Really"   His mind asked.He shrugged his thoughts & marched towards canteen.By now, his shoulders turned purple shade.

    At canteen,Zami looked Lub's dull face and wondered what happened in this short span of time.She thought it was her scolding but soon her gaze shifted towards his shoulders.Lub who noticed this turned away.Zami neared him and touched his shoulders shocking every single soul there.

ZAMI:"What happened?" She asked examining his shoulders. "Speak up" Her eyes teared up "I'm sorry" She mumbled and tried to run but Lub stopped her.
