FEAR OF LOSING YOU

ZAMI: "After all that has happened, you still didn't understand me. Right?"
     She asked facing him looking at his face whereas his eyes caught hers unable to comprehend what it was showing. Zami sighed loudly.

ZAMI: "Today I got to understand what is your problem"

LUB: "What is that?" He asked confused.

ZAMI: "YOU DON'T KNOW OR UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU NEED"

   Lub look flabbergasted at her statement. He couldn't understand what she was referring to. After staring him for few minutes, Zami decided to leave and moved towards door.

LUB: "What does that mean?"

ZAMI: "Think. Think deeply. You will get to understand what I said. Bye"
       Lub stood there thinking at Zami's retreating figure. After locking the door he ran towards his room, locking himself and sat thinking about what Zami said. He lost track of time and didn't knew when he slept.

Next day
       Everyone except Lub met at college gate. Before they could discuss about that, the bell rang, dispersing everyone. Till lunch everyone had back to back classes and finally gathered at canteen for lunch. Though Zami wanted to ask about Lub, she hesitated & kept fidgeting. Understanding her dilemma, Zak initiated conversation.

ZAK: "Arh, where is Luboid?" Before he could reply everyone heard a loud "I'm here guys". Everyone turned their heads to see an excited and energetic Lub approaching them. That sight bought happiness to all hearts seated there. Among them were a pair of expectant eyes which was royally making them fume. Lub who was witnessing this from his peripheral view smirked inwardly.

LUB(In mind): "Game begins now"

ARH: "Where were you buddy? We didn't find you since morning?"

SHEH: "Yes. And you took leave too. That's a miracle"   Everyone chuckled.

LUB: "Actually I was at home gathering myself and pondering about CERTAIN THINGS"   He said looking at Zami whose eyes were looking everywhere except Lub. Eventually it was noticed by THE GANG.

LUB: "Did I miss anything?"

ZAK: "No yaar"

LUB: "Great. Now shall we have lunch now? I'm hungry"

ARH: "Sure"

LUB: "Today I'll order and it's My treat" Saying this he ordered for everyone Except Zami which was least expected by her and others.

MEH: "Urm.... Lub, You didn't order for Zami"

LUB: "Really? Oh. Sorry. I forget. What would you like to have Ms.Khan?" Now THAT WAS A BLOW for ALL.

ZAMI: "I'm not hungry. So no thanks"

LUB: "Okay then" By then lunch arrived & he started eating beckoning others to eat. Except Lub, none ate. All sat extremely confused. "Aren't you guys eating?"

ZAK: "Sorry Lub, but I'm not hungry. Sorry"

MEH: "Yup. Me too. I think I should leave. You guys enjoy. Bye"

ARH & ZAMI: "Stop"

ZAMI: "I'm also coming. Arh is also accompanying"

ARH: "Ya. Bye"

        Till now Lub didn't raise his head neither did he eat. After they went Arh & Sheh turned towards Lub ferociously. Before they could start,Lub himself started.

LUB: "Guys Wait.I can explain"

ARH: "We dont need to hear anything. I'm leaving"

SHEH: "We are really upset Lub. You hurt everyone. You are repeating the SAME MISTAKE. We didn't expect THIS from YOU. Bye"
      
   Lub sighed heavily. He wanted to explain H.I.S POV. But none is ready to listen. He too left after paying bill for untouched food.
    
       Though she came from there Zami was still thinking about Lub. She wanted to know how he is & how he feels after her encounter with him yesterday. She decided to see him once WITHOUT HIS NOTICE and set out in search of him.
        After coming from canteen Lub was following Zami. Knowing that she is searching for him, Lub smiled. He deliberately walked past Zami & went to the basketball ground. Seeing Lub, Zami's eyes got a glint & followed him.

      Lub took a ball and started playing with it. Zami watched him from a corner, thinking that Lub didn't notice her. Like Really! Feeling Zami's gaze on him,

LUB: "You can see me In fact stare me RIGHT INFRONT OF MY FACE you know. I won't mind Za.mi.na"
   He spoke without turning towards her. That startled Zami to no extent. She wondered how he found out and felt embarrassed that she got caught red handed.

ZAMI: "I....I..I..... I di... I didn't come here to meet you" Now Lub turned & faced Zami & stood infront of her.

LUB: "Stop stuttering and just agree. Why are you troubling yourself"

ZAMI: "Ok Fine.I accept. I came to see you. Now happy?"   She huffed clearly indicating her annoyance. Lub had hard time controlling his smile.

LUB: "Good. Now may I know WHY MY MAJESTY graced her presence at this time?" He stressed the word MY making Zami's heart flutter and a cute pink hue adorned her face. That amused Lub & he loved his effect on her.

ZAMI: "Yesterday after I left your home, I didn't know how you felt. I wanted to know whether I hurt you or not. And you"

LUB: "You can NEVER hurt me" He started confidently & Zami smiled.

LUB: "And you didn't call me too"

LUB: "So, you WERE EXPECTING My call?"

ZAMI: "No. Yes. No. I mean yes. No. Haan no"
  At this, Lub laughed his heart out clutching his stomach. Though Zami felt offended at first, she loved his laughter. Her heart felt at peace and she smiled wholeheartedly.

LUB: "I love this about you Zami. Your" 
    He stopped, realising what he said & turned to look at Zami whose face was FLUSHED.
