FEAR OF LOSING YOU

   Zami entered the library and rushed towards an aloof corner. She was having a hard time controlling her laugh. Her face was turning red. Lub who was following Zami, was enjoying looking at Zami's face. He stood there leaning on the nearest bookshelf folding his hands across his chest. After a good few minutes, Zami composed herself and turned, only to see Lub admiring her. At his mere sight, a laugh threatened to escape her mouth. But somehow she managed and stopped laughing.

   Seeing her relaxed, Lub started moving towards her. Zami just looked at him not knowing what he was thinking.

LUB: "What did you call me?" She giggled but a fake glare from Lub stopped her.

ZAMI: "Senior. S.E.N.I.O.R" She smiled widely.

LUB: "Am I really your senior?"

ZAMI: "Ofcourse"

LUB: "Nothing more than that?"

   He was serious and her smile faded away. She was not expecting this that too at such a situation. She didn't know what to do and kept silent. She bowed her head without saying anything. Lub sighed at that. He moved aside and gave her space to go away. She noticed that but didn't move. That was a surprise for Lub and felt unknown & immense happiness. After deep thinking, he said

LUB: "You are free to go.I will not be a hindrance in your path" Still she didn't move.

LUB: "Zamina" She looked up at him. "I won't disturb you. If you want you can"  he gulped "you can g g go away from me"   
   He hung his head low without having courage to face her or know her answer. Zami waited for sometime so that he will look at her. But he didn't. So, she started going without saying anything. Sensing her crossing him, Lub lifted his head but didn't look up. After a minute he turned and Zami's ACCUSING EYES. Lub was taken aback at the intensity and wondered what he did now.

ZAMI: "You won't change right? It's me who is being and becoming a fool every single time. You know what?"
    Lub raised his eyebrows at her sudden outburst and question.

ZAMI: "Leave it" Saying this she stomped her foot like a child & went from there huffing & puffing. Lub chuckled at her behavior and was confused at her behavior and went towards his gang!

   He narrated everything that happened and held his head in his hands. All the four looked at each other. They felt like bashing him, but couldn't. They felt frustrated and eventually took that out on Lub by almost killing him with their lectures, threats, warning & what not.

LUB: "Stop it. What did I do now to deserve all this?"

ARH,ZAK,SHEH,MEH: "You still didn't realise your mistake. Did you?"

LUB: "No"

ARH: "Idiot. She is making move towards you. But you are again ignoring her by running away from her" Everyone turned serious.

SHEH: "You are not realising what you are losing"

ZAK: "Lub. Please don't hurt her more"

MEH: "Once again any stupidity like this, you WILL HAVE TO FORGET ZAMI. I mean it when I say it"    She pointed her finger towards Lub giving him a deathly glare & warning. "Understand?" Lub just froze.

MEH: "Answer something. Why are you silent again?" She shouted.
   Lub jumped at his place and others widened their eyes.

LUB: "Yes yes.I understand" He nodded his head vigorously making everyone chuckled except Mehak. She glared at all and stormed out from there. Everyone released their breath which they didn't knew they were holding.

LUB: "What was that?" Everyone shrugged and gave a "We told you" look.

   From then Zami kept avoiding Lub. She behaved as is Lub was never there at first place. Though Lub was hurt, he knew he deserved that. He was thinking if ways to woo her back. All his plans seem to fail thereby angering Zami more. Their friends were helpless thinking that they could not help Lub in this THIS MATTER!

   Exams were nearing and all were busy. But Lub seemed more tensed and restless than others. Though Zami noticed that, she shrugged it off at first. As days passed,Lub was becoming more restless and started distancing himself from everyone. He didn't let even Arh & Sheh to come near him. Zami became suspicious and decided to confront Lub. But, she didn't get a chance. His behavior irked and worried her. She thought to ask about him from his friends. At weekend, all 5 gathered at a restaurant. As expected,Lub refused to come.

ZAMI: "Guys, what is happening with Lub? Why is he behaving like this? Any problem? Is he behaving like this with all or only with me?"

   She kept on bombarding questions which made the remaining 4 to smile inwardly and sign with relief. They got their answer for the question of " Do Zami really love Lub?"

SHEH: "You really don't know Zamina?"

ZAMI: "What I don't know?"

ARH: "Zak & Meh, you both too don't know?" Though they don't know what the matter was, they just nodded negatively.

ZAMI: "Sheh please. Please tell me what is happening and what happened to Lub?"

ARH: "Zamina, tomorrow is Lub's parents death anniversary"   Her voice reduced at the end.

ZAMI: "What?"  It was a whisper.Zak & Meh gasped. Everyone sat in silence not knowing what to speak.

ZAMI: "Then why are you both here and not with him?"   Arh smiled sadly.

ARH: "He won't let anyone near him during this time"

SHEH: "What ever we do, he won't budge"

ZAMI: "Where will he be tomorrow?"

SHEH: "Full day he will be all alone in home and would lock himself up in his room, crying his heart out"

ZAMI: "What's his home address?"
  
   Everyone smiled at her determination.
