When a goldfish with a human face longs to live on the earth with the love of her life, Sousuke, the balance of the Earth becomes whack. Causing raging tsunamis and pulling the moon closer to the Earth, affecting its natural gravitational pull. The world is simply in utter chaos.
Another movie many tend to dislike but clearly I do not feel the same. The movie is entertaining and the characters are cute and loveable.
Though the story may be weird, it's weird and unusual in all the best ways. A fish with a human head sounds absolutely bone chilling, however Ponyo, or Brumhilde by birth, is the most adorable thing I have ever seen.

Ponyo herself is an easily likeable character. She is a literal ball of energy running around in the form of a typical 5 year old girl. She has a pretty shade of orange hair with a puffy red dress. Not to mention LOVES ham.
