Chapter 96: Let's See

PERSEUS' POV

Nagkamalay na lang ako na nandito pa rin sa kwarto ni Andromeda. Kasalukuyan naman akong nakaupo dito sa kama habang nakasandal sa head board.

"I'm s-still here?" tanong ko at kinusot-kusot pa ng konti ang mata kong parang inaantok pa.

It's a good thing that I'm still staying here but it's a liitle bit strange because knowing my Mom who's Esmeralda, she will immediately get me home after I passed out.

"Masyado ka pang mahina para ilipat agad saka mataas pa din ang temperature mo." Jane explained to me.

Nandito pa din pala sya?

"Plus Tita Esmeralda put me in charge here since she suddenly has this urgent business meeting in her company." dagdag pa nya.

"Are you the one who's keeping an eye on me since last night?" I asked.

"Yes, I even cook you breakfast." she said.

Wow, at my Andromeda's own home. My Andromeda really let her do that in her own teritory?!

"Where's my Andromeda?" I can't help myself but to ask.

"She is with my cousin." sagot naman nito.

"What? Who's cousin?" nagtataka kong tanong.

"Yeah, with Hui." she said, mentioning the name.

Right, I remember Hui in the house before I passed out.

That Hui-guy.

"Ano namang ginagawa nila?" I questioned.

"Sila ang pinagprepare ko ng lamesa. Kakapasok ko lang ding kwarto nung nagising ka after I cooked." she answered then beam at me.

But I just can't smile back at her kaya napatango na lang ako.

"I think the table is ready just by now. Tara na?" alok nya.

She approaches me then help me get up in the bed. She guides me as we get out of the room.

"Thanks." matipid kong sabi sa kanya at sinuklian naman nya ito ng ngiti.

Nasa salas na kami at isang liko lang sa part na malapit sa hagdan ay nandoon na ang kitchen.

Nagtaka naman ako ng makarinig ng malakas na ingay pagkalabas ng kwarto.

A loud noise, mixed with laughter, chuckles, giggles and teases can be heard from the kitchen.

Papalapit kami at palakas nang palakas ang ingay na nadidinig namin.

"Seems like they are enjoying it." dinig kong sabi ni Jane na alalay ako sa braso.

Hindi naman ako umimik at nanatiling sa daan nakatingin.

"Getting jealous?" she added.

Still not facing on her, I pout badly as a yes.

Napatawa naman sya sa reaction ko.

"Cute."

Nakadating na kaming kitchen at ayon ang pinsan nya saka si Andromeda na kasalukuyang nakatalikod sa amin na hindi man lang napansin ang pagdating namin.

I watch them teasing each other. Yeah, Im not even bother to cut them off. Let's see what are their enjoying about.

Hui is transferring the noodles with a fork pero hindi nya ito magawa ng ayos. Akma namang aagawin na ni Andromeda ang tinidor ng inilayo ito ni Hui sa kanya.

"Hey, I can do this!"  nakangiting sambit ni Hui habang inaangat ang noodles pero dumulas ito sa fork at bumalik sa malaking bowl kaya medyo nagtalabsikan ang sabaw nito.

"Ok, your turn." sabi ni Hui saka tatawa-tawang tiningnan si Andromeda na nalagyan ang mukha ng ilang patak ng sabaw.

"Heck you chopstick guy!" tatawa-tawa pang saad ni Andromeda.

"Let me wipe that for you." Hui said as he chuckles while getting a tissue.

"N-no, I can wipe it on my own." Andromeda resist and starts to wipe her face with her own hand.

Hindi naman nagpatalo si Hui, pinunasan nya ng tissue ang pisngi ni Andromeda habang nakatitig pa sa mata nito.

"What a romantic scene." malamig kong putol sa kanila.

They both froze in their position as they turn around. Andromeda look surprise while Hui look confused.

My eyes automatically locked onto Andromeda's eye. Ang mata nyang ngangayon ko lang nakita na parang hindi mapakali.

Mabilis naman nyang inalis ang kamay ni Hui pumupunas kanina sa pisngi nya.

"N-nandito na pala kayo." she said shifting her eyes to Jane but immediately came back to mine.

I didn't utter any word instead I let my cold stare to communicate with her.

"Akala kasi namin tapos na. I guess my cousin have a problem using a fork." Jane answered.

"Y-yeah, its been a long time since the last time that I use a fork." saad naman ni Hui.

"L-last b-bowl na lang." Andromeda said being in her unusual self.

This time, si Andromeda na ang naglipat ng noodle soup sa bowl kaya naman medyo naging mabilis ang proseso.

Medyo mabibitawan pa nya yung bowl pero mabilis itong nahawakan ni Hui.

"S-sorry." Andromeda mumbled like she's out of her self.

Hui place the other three bowls on the table beside the pair of the fork and spoon in front of each of us.

Kinuha naman ni Andromeda ang pitchel ng tubig mula sa fridge at nagready na din ng baso para maiinuman namin.

Lastly, she sat at the chair na katapat ko lang.

"Eat up. That's my special noodles." Jane proudly introduces.
