Chapter 12 - Oregano

The rest of my summer goes quickly and luckily a peaceful days without that Shelly girl pestering my brother.

I made sure to take a trip on Sunday to Justine's house for a baking session with his mother. Her mom is adorable and a good company. I enjoyed staying at their house.

My brother is just too happy receiving a lot of treats. Pinapadala kasi halos lahat sa akin ang mga gawa namin.
Minsan daw isama ko siya doon. Since, eating free is life. I can't believe my Kuya. Baka next time mapakamalan kaming wala ng makain.

It's now Monday morning, it's my first day of college classes as a second year student.

When I walk into my class, the room is empty.  I think, I am too early.

I dialed my friend's number.

"Where are you?"
I asked her.  We can find a good place to sit because I'm early.

"Why?"
She sounded sleepy in the other line.
Kakagising niya lang ata? What the hell?

"Don't answer my question with another question LJ!"
I shouted. Luckily wala pa masyadong tao. Wala naman akong maiistorbong klase.

"Ok, But wala pa namang lesson kapag first day. E attendance mo na lang ako."
This girl.

"No."
I hanged up the call and put my phone inside my bag.

I choose to sit in front near the window.  When I'm about to sit.
Someone came to the room rushing.
He obviously cares being on time.

Unlike my friend, that has a dark mind with her. Gusto pang magpa-attendance.

"Where is everyone?"
He ask me.

"Probably going to be late."
I answered him and smile.
He choose to sit next to me.

"I'm Krystian Gonzaga."
He said and offer his hand with a friendly smile to his face.

What's wrong with that name?
How many Krystians am I going to meet?

"I'm Anji Kristel Alvarez."
I gave him a friendly smile too.

I spend the rest of the time talking to him. I am really glad he sat next to me.

Because my friend show up when the first period is about to end.
She looked shocked when she see me talked to the man beside me.

"Thanks for taking a seat for me Anj. You're the best."
She said and sit to my left side.

"And you're the worst."
I'm giving her a sharp look for being extra late. She doesn't mind thought.

"What is your name miss? Submit an index card for your attendance."
The professor asked Lea and she immediately nod and pass one.

The professor doesn't looked strict at all. She doesn't mind if her student is late.

"Don't give me that look Anj. I know I am lucky." She laughs.

As the day continues,  the last professor for today entered the room. He looks so good.
I am not telling lies. How old is he?

"Lea you're about to droll. Gross."
I joke to her.

"Look Anj! How come I didn't know this University has a professor as good as this?"
I couldn't disagree.
