I look at myself in the mirror as they finished. I had a tight black dress on that showed my curves. My hair was lightly curled with some light makeup on.

"Damn, you look hot." Tara said when she walked into my bathroom. I couldn't help but smile when she told me that.

"Do you know where you're going to?" Kat asked leaning against the door frame. "I have no idea. He just said that we were going out." I tell them as I turn to them.

They were smiling really big. The doorbell rang signaling that Colby's here. They started squealing causing me to shush them.

I walk over to the door to open it. I don't know why but I feel nervous. I take a deep breath and open the door.

I see Colby standing there wearing black skinny jeans and a black button up, that's tucked into his jeans.

He looked at me from up and down in complete shock. "Wow." He said in shock. "Do I look bad?" I look back down at my body and then back up at him.

"No, you look-" I can tell he was at a loss for words. That's when Kat and Tara came up behind me. "She looks hot, right?" Tara asked him.

"More like beautiful." The girls behind me started to awe which made me turn red. "I think it's time to go." I say to Colby as he agrees.

We tell them bye as we walk towards his car. He walked to the passenger side and opened my door for me.

"My lady." He said in an old accent. I couldn't help but laugh when he said that. "Why thank you kind sir." I thank him in an old accent.

He closed the door and jogged to his side of the car. He quickly sat down and started his car up. As he drove, we sat in a comfortable silence.

As I stared out the window, I felt his hand reach my thigh. I lightly smiled because I've missed it. I look down at his hand and lock our fingers together.

I could see a smile form on his lips as I held onto his hand. "So, where are we going?" I ask curious. He just shrugged.

I should've known he wasn't gonna tell me. I just look out the window again as he keeps driving. After about ten minutes, we reach a restaurant.

It looked like a fancy one too. When we walk in, it had a piano player and the lights were dim. We walked to the hostess as she looked up at us.

"Reservations?" She asked grabbing a pen. "Brock, party of two." He said as I stared at him. Now I know why he wanted me to dress up a little bit.

She smiled as she wrote something down. "Yes, this way." She started walking as we followed her.

"Colby, you didn't have to do this." I whisper as we walk close together. "I know I didn't have to, but I wanted to." He smiled down at me.

She stopped at a booth and stepped aside so we could sit down. "I hope you two have a lovely meal." She smiled as she walked away.

We sit down as I started looking through the menu. "Hello, my name is Derek and I'll be serving you guys tonight. Can I start you out on a drink?" He asked.

We both ordered water so he jolted it down. He walked away so he could get our drinks, leaving us by ourselves again.

That's when I noticed how expensive everything is on the menu. "Colby, everything is expensive." I speak up as he looks up at me.

"It's okay, I'm paying for it." He nonchalantly said. "Let me pay." He shook his head no as I groaned. Derek then comes over and brings our water to us.

"Do you guys know what you want yet or do you want me to come back?" Derek asked as we ordered. He walked away, so now it was just us again.

I looked around and there was a decent amount of people here. And then I looked at Colby to see him staring at me.

"What?" I chuckle at the nerves. "You just look really beautiful." I could feel my face heat up.

"Thanks, you do too. Well I mean, not beautiful. You know what I mean." I stutter as I get embarrassed. He laughed at me as I hid my face.

"You know, I've never loved anyone the way I love you." Colby admitted. I smiled knowing he felt the same.

"Not even Gemma?" I asked as he shook his head. "I thought I did. But I didn't realize how toxic it was until after I met you." I couldn't help but smile.

"And I thought I wasn't gonna trust anyone again, but then I ended up letting you in." Now it was his turn to smile.

We talked about a lot of stuff up until our food came. It felt like old times. After thinking about it, I think Colby is my soulmate.

He's the one person who knows me better than anyone else. After meeting him, I became a better person.

He accepted and believed in me before anyone else. Even after everything, I still love him with all my heart.

After we ate, we went to the fountain they had in front of the restaurant. "I'll give you five dollars if you jump in." He joked, making me laugh.

"Not if you do it first." I joke back. I look over at him to see him staring at me. "I need to ask you something." He said getting closer to me.

"What's that?" I ask, my heart beat racing a little bit. "Would you do the honors of being my girlfriend again?" He asked making me smile.

How could I say no? "I'd love to." I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss his lips.

Nothing could ruin this moment.
