I trek the familiar, dark woods in the direction of my destination. The last place Isaac and Allison mentioned everyone would be is the hospital and that's exactly where I plan to go. It's poetic, really. Finishing what I started. I will raise havoc for my final attempt at alpha status. No matter who is in my way.
Before Isaac and Allison had taken it upon themselves to contain me for the sake of their alpha, I had pushed back my murderous thoughts of Scott for my own personal upgrade. Now, I am going to rip his head clean off while his pack watches.
Approaching a large red sign that reads 'Beacon Hills Hospital' flashes before me as I pass the last tree in sight. I take a few more steps, standing before the large building where chaos has already begun without me. Water flows over the asphalt, the puddle growing larger throughout the parking lot at high speed. Those that have stepped out of their vehicles lay in the puddle beneath them, having been electrocuted by a loose electrical cord that erratically flies about with the forming crowd. Mumbles break out through the throng, everyone distracted and petrified by the fallen.
Not feeling concerned for those caught in the incident, I search the lot, finding a familiar brunette, and lock eyes with her. She stares at me in horror and concern, never looking away from my glare. Next to her stands my loving boyfriend, perturb plastered on his features as well. Not caring to focus on him, I cast my gaze back to Allison. The girl whose heart I want to wrap my fingers around and slowly pull from her chest.
With the amount of blood I have consumed, I am back to my full strength. I can hear and smell and see things like I had earlier when Allison had supplied me with her blood unwillingly. The smell of burnt flesh surrounds me by the scattered bodies that were unlucky with their visit here and voices and footsteps echo around me. One set of feet in particular gain volume as they approach me on my left.
The tall man takes me in, his nervousness rolling off him in waves as he requests I move out of the way with how close the water is closing in on me. I ignore him, continuing to stare at Allison until he places his hand on my shoulder to force me himself. Instantly, I grip his arm to force him closer to me and use my other hand to tilt his head back and sink my teeth into his cervical. I relish in the tang of his blood. The sweetness of the medic makes me moan from how glorious he tastes. Peeling my lips from his stubbly neck, I glue my eyes back to Allison.
Knowing the man is completely drained of blood, I drop his body. His blood drips from my chin onto my pastel blue crop top, making a mess I have come accustomed to.
I lick my lips and smirk, "You're next." Isaac's body tenses at my words, letting me know he used his werewolf hearing to listen to my threat.
Stepping over the lifeless corpse, I speedily make my way to the two, all the while avoiding the flood. I make it to the other side of the flowing water, standing behind them. Isaac is the first to sense my presence and turns around to face me, "Renee, don't."
I glance over to him, my eyes no longer mocking human ones, "Stay out of this, Isaac." Not giving him a chance to respond, I grab his shirt and toss him to the side, away from Allison and myself. His head hits the ground and I hear a soft grunt come from his throat. That should keep him down long enough for a one-on-one with Allison. Chris's daughter turns to me, her mouth gapped out of shock from seeing Isaac thrown through the air. No one else seems interested in the scene unfolding between us with the concern of the cut wire still whipping from the top of the building.
I take one step closer, Allison taking one step back. My lip twitches upward, enjoying the fear I'm embedding in her. I revel in the knowledge of her being unaware of the pain I plan to suffocate her with. The slow torturing tactics I want to take my time inflicting her with. However, sometimes I have to cut things short.
