The little things always matter the most. One time, me and Henry had plans on going out to the park. He wanted to take photos of random people on park. It was supposed to be just a simple sunny afternoon pero biglang umulan. So we didn't have any choice but to stay at home.
We got so bored and decided to watch a movie on Netflix. We were browsing, looking for movies to watch and I saw the movie poster of Titanic. I told him that it was me and my mom's favorite movie. And he told he that he hasn't watched it.
So I made him watch it with me, on his tv in a rainy afternoon. I could tell Henry's not really into romanctic movies like Titanic but I actually appreciated the fact that he finished a three-hour film without even falling asleep.
I can't help it. I'm such a softie when it comes to movies. I would immediately ball. Kaya naman noong dumating na ang scene na pinapasakay na ang mga tao sa boats, Rose looking up to Jack, as if he was slipping right from her hands, in that moment, I really felt that sense of emotion na para bang unti-unti ng naglalaho ang isang tao sa buhay mo. So I couldn't help but cry.
Kaya naman nang matanggap ko itong dress nato that really resembled Rose's dress, I couldn't believe it. Henry, definitely surprised me. Hindi ako makapaniwalang nangyayari talaga 'to ngayon. His gift? This dress? This note?
HE'S MAKING IT SO DAMN HARD!!!
Looking back, months ago, I wouldn't have felt sad not going to this party. I wouldn't mind missing all the 'fun.' But now, I wouldn't deny the fact, that there's this certain hole in my chest with the thought of Henry, being there...holding a red cup by himself. I don't want to think anymore.
"Go get 'em gurl!!!" sabi naman ni Izzy nang ako'y papaalis na.
I never thought I would be this brave.
As expected, ang dami ngang tao rito. Buong Williamson, ay narito, dressed up in their best undercover outfit. People kept nodding at me, probably wondering what am I? What am I supposed to look like? But I couldn't care less.
He did a fabulous job in organizing this Halloween Party. There was even a whole red carpet moment before you walk in the party. Everyone was striking their best poses for the grams of course. Wala na akong panahon pa para magpa-picture. I just want to find Henry, and tell him exactly what I feel.
When I stepped inside, there were a lot people. Some are dancing in the middle of the room, others were by the pool chilling, some are even playing beer pong by the huge-ass table near the kitchen.
I was searching the entire room for Henry, but I couldn't find him. Nang makalabas ako, agad kong namataan sina Stacey, Martha and Cindy of course with Simon, Walter and Wesley. The couples were wearing matching costumes. Stacey and Walter were Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I figured because they kept on and on about this idea during the summer. Cindy and Simon are Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones. Pretty much because they love binge-watching Riverdale together on Netflix. Martha was wearing a green crop top with black fishnet top underneath and ripped jeans for the bottom. Of course, she was wearing her favorite cartoon character, Buttecup. And lastly, Wesley was wearing a tux. I didn't know who he was supposedly.
I was about to go upstairs and look for him further nang biglang may naramdaman akong kamay na humigit sa aking siko.
