FROM THE EARTH I RISE AND TO THE DIRT I ONE DAY WILL RETURN. WHAT'S UP MOTHERSHUCKERS.

Yeah I know I was in hiatus for a quiet long time (cough-likeayearorso-cough). To be honest, I was having a hard time writing, was slowly losing interest, and getting bored with this story. Perhaps I focused too much on my errors instead of looking at the parts that made you guys smile. After reading my whole story from a reader's POV and reading some of your comments, my motivation is finally bacc and im ready to hit the keys again and type stuff. I truly am sorry for leaving you guys hanging, I'll try mo best to finish this book. Anyway, enjoy! <3

The aggravating sun rays warming up your cheeks had disrupted your peaceful slumber. Groaning, you grabbed a nearby cloth to cover your face with. Alas, you quickly threw it away as the horrid smell of puke had kicked started your adrenaline just from the mere whiff of it. Your face twisted as disgust clouded your features. It was then you remembered that Miyu had used the poor fabric in order to wipe the bile off of her mouth.

Why did she vomit? Well, the female had the urge to nibble on one of the herbs being tested—it was a habit that she acquired whilst being a doctor for a few years. You already reminded her to stop doing it since her life could be in grave danger. Alas, the female continued with her antics despite your warnings. Speaking of which, where was she?

Lo and behold, the female was passed out—head resting on the ground while her torso lay on the chair. Quite an uncomfortable position yet her face shows no distress as she was in deep slumber. You groaned and rested a palm to your forehead. It took the two of you almost the whole night to explore the vast plants imprinted on the journal. At some point, you had to force Miyu to stop the research and rest for a little bit. Your words fell on deaf ears as she continued being the mad scientist she is.

Three series of knocks descended upon the doors and popped out of the corner was a broccoli. Wait, scratch that—the person was Izuku. "Good morning, (____)!" he chimed and pushed the door wide open. Beside him was the twinkle prince, Aoyama. "Bonjour, mon ami!" he greeted whilst stars surrounding him, or was it just your imagination?

"Good morning," you replied back, rubbing the sleep off of your eyes. "How's Shouto?"

"He is recovering bit by bit," Izuku stated. The two males walked inside and took notice of the organized mess the room is in. "I guess it's a tough night, non?" The twinkle prince commented. Nodding, you fixed your hair a little bit, "Yeah but luckily we are used to staying up late. What we discovered here is groundbreaking!"

"These herbs could potentially cure illnesses faster than that we have now," you continued with stars sparkling in your eyes. These past few days had been hard, with you knowing that your quirk contained ethylene glycol. You don't know what had caused your quirk to malfunction. Unbeknownst to all, it was slowly killing you.

Your mouth dries up, heart clenches, and body stiffens at just the thought of you losing your career. Despite the others' reassurance, you can't help but put the blame on yourself. It was yourself that you put your arse in an illusionary high and mighty position—believing and relying too much on your quirk.

"(____)? (____)?" Izuku snapped you out of your thoughts with a wave of his hand. "Are you okay?"

Your eyes trailed from the floor to his green orbs, "Yea-. . . Yeah," you licked your dry lips. "I'll go and check up on Shouto. . ." you excused yourself. Exiting the room, the two males looked at your frame with worry evident in their expression. They could never imagine the pain you are masking and running away from.

Hands clenched every now and then, you walked down the corridor with shame and guilt in your eyes. Shouto's room should not be far away. Before you had even realized it, you were in front of his room. How could you even face him after causing him distress multiple times?

With one shy knock, you waited for a response. His soft voice could be heard from inside, and you took that as a cue to open the door. "(____)?" Shouto looked perplexed. "What are you doing here. . . ?"

"I came to check up on you. You know. . . th-. . . the poison I caused."

Shouto dropped his things to come closer to you. "(____). . ." he started. "It was never your fault. No one anticipated this would happen," he placed a reassuring hand on your shoulder. "Besides, the poison is now gone from my system."

"Even so! I caused multiple deaths as a cause of my childish ways and foolishness," you replied quite harshly. The Pro Hero looked at you with concern. An awkward silence fell between the two of you before he pulled you inside and closed the door. "Wha-" you started but then was cut short when Shouto rested both of his palms against your cheeks. The male closed his eyes, as if he was concentrating.

Perplexed by this, you asked him "What are you doing?"

Shouto opened his eyes and gave you a soft smile. "Healing you just like what you did to me."

You swore you could cry right then and there. This boi was too pyoor for this cruel world. Let alone your cruel quirk and personality. You probably don't deserve Shouto after all the troubles you caused him. The male removed his hands after a couple of minutes.

Shouto ruffled your hair a little bit before finally setting on top of your head. "Don't work yourself too much, okay? I'm always here if you need me."

The key to a healthy lifestyle is to avoid the villains beleaguering the small, peaceful town your team resides in. Well, it looks like you need to take extra lessons since you have had accidentally stumbled upon the villains. Take note, accidentally. It was not your intention to discover their hideout deep in the woods of the rural area. You were loitering around mindlessly when a squirrel greeted you from its hole in the tree.

It sniffed the air a couple of times before leaving its home and running from branch to branch. You, being the curious person you are, decided to follow the critter. Soon enough an old infrastructure came into view, about three stories high.

Little did you know that a few traps have been set on the ground to ward of anyone who dare come close to their base. You were fortunate enough to not set off one of them. You had only realized it was their base when you recognized their leader entering said building.

You are such an idiot, (____). You'll be dead if they found you lurking around their base. As quick as a fox and as meek as a rabbit, you hid behind a couple of bushes and held your breath. Looks like they won't be using Denki as bait now, considering that you have been unwillingly had become one.
