Shawn's POV

I got my ticket and headed back to the car only to realise that Layla was gone. I only had just got her back, I couldn't of lost her again, could I? Then I saw the card on the seat. I knew I should've thrown that card away when I met Layla... I tried calling her phone, but she didn't pick up. *You have reached the voicemail of Layla Fawn please leave a message after the tone, beep* "Hey Layla, where are you. Please come back I'll explain it all it's all just a big misunderstand..." *Beep* The voicemail had cut off. I left it a while as I looked around the parking lot searching for her. She was officially lost. Maybe she had just gone home. I didn't give up. I went round with a picture of her from her Instagram. "Excuse me have you seen this girl?" "Hello have you seen this young lady?" I got back into my car and drove to her mothers house.

I gave three small knocks on the door, praying that someone would answer. The door opened and I saw Caleb. "Oh, your that guy who helped Layla find me, wassup?" I didn't know what to say. "Is your mother home?" He ran and was shouting mum. I saw Miss Fawn approach the door. "Shawn? Layla's not home, she's out at the moment." I could particularly say that I was taking her out and lost her so the best lie I could find was "I've tried ringing her a few times and she wanted some tutoring, but she wouldn't pick up, so I decided to come here. I was down town before and she was nowhere to be seen" I saw her mother looked so concerned, I dialled the police, we was probably so familiar to them by now. We told them that we think Layla is missing. I was really panicked. I was still trying to call her phone *You have reached the voicemail of, You have reached the voicemail." Her phone then just didn't even ring. She must've turned it off, or maybe it died. I was becoming really anxious over her. Yea she was my girlfriend but maybe I no longer like her maybe I love her, maybe I've love her for longer than I had expected. "

"Hey Shawn, you can stay the night if you want..." I had the feeling that she was catching onto the feeling me and Layla had for each other. "I'll be ok," I replied "I'm going to look on the other side of town for her. But thank you anyways Miss Fawn." She nodded "Please call me Michelle." I nodded as I left the house. I turned the keys in my car. Just if I hadn't left the car before, maybe Layla wouldn't have left.

Layla's POV

I felt like I had sat here for days. My head was still banging, but I don't think it was bleeding anymore. I felt really sleepy. Maybe I should just take a nap. The voice in my head shouted no, you cant go to sleep, stay awake. Maybe it was myself conscience telling me that it was a bad idea. I heard a buzzing noise *Hello Layla, I wonder what that dear babe of your thinks now that your gone, I bet nothing, (Sir come on she's here) I will deal more with you later.* The speaker went off. Someone had taken me. I had no way to contact anyone. I was alone.

Hours had passed and I had just stared at the wall, I heard the intercom go off again *Layla, prepare for torture...* "Why me? Why keep me captive, I have nothing to be punished for!" I let out a few tears. A figure came out of nowhere and came over to me with a hot rod. I screamed as it tried to come nearer and nearer. The rod stabbed straight through my skin, piercing it with the heat and sharpness. I fell to the ground in pain. The figure had disappeared into the darkness. I closed my eyes.

Shawn walked over to me, "Layla, babe." I opened my eyes and he was there. "Shawn what, what are you doing here. You cant be here. They will get you too." He smiled "Shhhh, I'm only in your head, I'm only a dream. But think if they can get in here, you can get out. If there's a way in there's a way out." I knew it was a dream but it felt so real. He opened his arms and I placed myself next to him as he wrapped his arms around me. I put my head onto his chest and closed my eyes.

The intercom went off. *Layla wake up. It's torture time!* I woke up to see water splattering from the roof. It started to fill the room. *Layla we could stop all of this. All you have to do is give Shawn up.* I thought about it, give up Shawn? "Well hurt me, kill me if you must. But for the love of god" I broke into tears "Just... Just don't hurt him!" I knew that as long as Shawn was safe I would find a way to get out. *Ok fine! Prepare for the worst* The room was filling up with water quicker. I was scared but I had to remember my dream. 'If there's a way in there's a way out' as the water made me rise quicker towards the roof I could see there was a small vent and it had no screws. I knew that it would take a good pull but I bet I could get it off. It left the intercom on *Yes Miss I have her trapped. She will be dead by morning, lets go eat.* I knew they had left. So I swam over to the vent.

I pulled on it and it pooped off fast to my surprise, but I couldn't let it fill up or I would drown in there. I pulled myself up and squeezed myself into there. I crawled as fast as I could, I felt the water filling up behind me, it made my feet go cold, sent shivers through my body. I could see a light towards the end. The closer I got the more I saw it was trees and grass. It was the forest, but which forest. There's was so many in town, especially including the other side of town. But I knew I had to find Shawn. I had to find him.
