"Maggie, keep an eye on them. Because so help me, if I see something fishy going on, I'll kill him. I'll kill your son."
Maggie rolled her eyes at Nolan, who glared down at her with a series expression as he stuck his last suitcase into the car. He was going to Africa to star in a cologne commercial for a week. Nolan didn't trust his daughter alone at home and thought it would be best if she stayed over at Abbie's place. But it was her and Porter's anniversary and the couple was going to Bora Bora. Josh was staying over at Lucas who said he was only babysitting one child, not two. So the only option he had left was Maggie and he cringed at the idea. Especially since Miles would be living in the same house. But he didn't have any other option.
Though he would deny it until the day he died, Carter and Miles definitely were close and he was sure something would happen. If Maggie didn't watch them.
"And don't let them sleep in the same room. I don't care if they've been doing it since they were four, they're almost eighteen and this is different. Miles is horny and Carter's isn't someone who would deny him!"
His friend snorted, walking over to him, Maggie laid her hands on each side of Nolan's shoulders and softly massaged the muscle. "Nolan, relax. Landon even promised to keep an eye on them. Landon's going to sleep in the guest room opposite Miles's room and Carter's going to sleep with me. We'll know if they sneak out."
Nolan sighed, nodding his head, "Good, you've thought it out."
Maggie nodded, slightly guilty that Nolan didn't know that everything was thought out because Landon had seen a hickey on Miles's neck. Maggie promised to keep an even more close eye on the two when she had overheard Landon's talk with their son. She couldn't help but roll her eyes just thinking about it. Landon practically gave Miles permission to have sex! As long as he wore a condom.
She needed to have a talk with Miles, a proper one.
"Daddy, are you going already?"
Nolan looked up from Maggie and smiled as he saw Carter standing at the front door of their house, an unhappy pout on her face. She hated it when Nolan left for business trips because she missed him. Even at seventeen, she still had separation issues, though not as bad as they were when she was smaller.
"Yes, Princess. My flights in an hour."
Carter's pout turned into a frown and she quickly ran over to Nolan, her arms reached out to pull her father into a tight hug. Nolan sighed, his arms pulling Carter into his chest and his cheek laying a top her head. "I'm gonna miss you, Daddy. Come back soon, ok?"
Nolan chuckled, nodding his head as he leaned away and laid a kissed against Carter's forehead. "Be good, ok? And no funny business."
She giggled, shaking her head before leaning up onto her toes and laying a kiss against Nolan's chin, "Love you to the moon and back."
Nolan grinned, whispering it back into Carter's ear before tapping her, "Go get your things, I don't want to keep him waiting. I'll be back, next week Thursday. You'll come to fetch me at the airport, won't you, Princess?"
Carter nodded, smiling, "Ok, I'll set a reminder on my phone." Af if suddenly remembering something, Carter jumped up with a gasp before telling her father to wait. She ran back into the house and came back a few minutes later, a brown packet in her hand. Grinning, she handed it over to Nolan who rose an eyebrow in question. "What's this?"
