Ava hurried down the white aisle, a wide smile across her face as she threw blue petals down in front of her. She loved the mess it made. Lucas followed behind, Carter and Miles rings clutched tightly in his hands as giggling softly, chasing after her. He thought they were playing a game. Before he could grab Ava and scare her, James stood up from his seat in the audience, shaking his head. "Come on, bud. This isn't a play ground, it's a wedding."

Lucas looked up at his father confused, "A wedding?"

James rolled his eyes with a small smile before leading Lucas and Ava off of the aisle and to stand in their place near the alter.

Amber and Kate walked in behind them, smiling widely at the crowds in baby blue dresses. Miles had chosen out the colour, saying it was almost the perfect shade of Carter's eyes. Alex and Jordan came after, Alex trying to resist the urge to wave towards the crowd as if he was the royal queen waving at her people. Jordan smiled shyly, the opposite of his boyfriend at the crowd.

And then came the bride and her father.

Nolan couldn't keep the tears that fall from his eyes anymore as he lead Carter down the aisle. He promised himself he wouldn't cry at Carter's wedding but leading her to another man filled him with happiness and sadness. He wasn't ready to let her go but he knew he had too.

Her eyes were locked on Miles, who had smiled widely at the sight of her. His eyes red from keeping back tears of joy. Carter smiled back wider, the tears in her eyes making her vision blurry as she sent her future husband a small wave. Miles chuckled, raising a hand to wipe at his eyes as a silent tear made it's way down his cheek.

He had pictured this day so many times in his head but this moment was more then he could imagine. Seeing her in that dress, looking so fucking beautiful had his knees buckling and his heart aching. He loved her so much that he doubted his heart was big enough for all the love he had for her.

He was perfect in her eyes. Standing there in a tux and staring at her with that love struck expression had Carter's stomach clenching along with her thighs. This beauty of a man was going to be her husband? How was she this lucky?

She tried not to speed up her steps to get to him and kept pace with her father who seemed to be having a hard time leading her down the aisle. Chuckling, she turned towards him and pressed a hard kiss against the arm that was holding her.

Nolan's heart warmed. Sure, Miles was a little stupid and a little weird but he loved his daughter. Almost as much as he loved her and that thought put Nolan at ease.

No one would be more perfect for his Carter then Miles.

The nearer they came to where Miles stood, the more Nolan's heart hurt. He was never going to be ready to see her walk into a another man's arms but he knew she'd be ok.

Miles's smile widened when Carter had reached him and he waited patiently as Carter turned to her father, pulling him into a tight hug that Nolan didn't want to end before he stepped back. Handing Carter over to Miles who sent him a small smile. Promising he'd take care of her.

Nolan made his way over to Abbie, who pulled him into her arms and hugged him, even though he cringed just to tease her. Abbie smiled, wiping at Nolan's cheeks, "She looks so happy."

Nolan nodded, watching as Carter's smile grew wider the nearer the priest got to the I do's. And he's heart warmed, exploding with so much happiness for his daughter as they exchanged rings and promised themselves to each other for the rest of their lives. He couldn't believe she was all big now. The time had gone to fast and nothing could ruin the happy moment.
