When they'd road up to school in a limo, there had been paparazzi at the entrance. The white flash of lights familiar to the teenager couple as they stepped out of the car and smiled. Waving at the camera men as if they were fans. Carter wrapped an arm around Miles waist, leaning against him as they walked across the red carpet that lead into the ballroom their school had rented out for senior prom. Miles wrapped a comforting arm around Carter's lower back, making sure that none of her dress was covered.
He was sure the designer would have his head if he covered up the dress to much. Carter made sure to lean her body in a way that would showcase the dress, as requested by the designer. When they reached the entrance, the couple turned back to the camera's and smirked, before giggling like fool to each other. "Did you do your sexy face?"
Miles nodded, chuckled, "I made sure to make my lips extra pouty. The ladies will die for it."
Carter giggled, slapping Miles shoulder as he did the smoldering look again, his eyes squinting and his lips pouting unattractively. Carter burst into a fit of laughter, a hand coming to cover her face when she snorted accidentally. Miles smiled fondly, leaning down to kiss the tip of her small nose when she lowered her hand. "You're so silly, Milo."
Miles grinned, proudly before scanning the crowd of high school students who littered the dance floor in the middle of the huge ballroom and the tables that surrounded it. He spotted Alex and Jay, on the dance floor as they did old 90s dance moves. Alex was in the middle of doing the running man while Jay had peace signs over his eyes.
Carter spotted Amber in the crowd, her hair was now dyed a dark blue colour, almost black. She'd come alone to the prom since her girlfriend wasn't in town but Pearl was attached to her partner. His name was Jeremiah and had been trying to get Pearl since Junior year. Carter bet the two would be dating before they graduated.
The couple made their way over to their friends and Carter couldn't help the dark blush that took over her face as her friends compliments her on the dress. "All this skin you're showing!" Alex sighed happily, before pulling Carter into his arms with a laugh before looking up at Miles. "You look good too, bro."
"Thanks, man. You don't look so bad yourself."
Alex smirked, pulling Miles into a short bro hug before all the friends was dancing again. Jumping around and mimicking each other's dances. They'd laugh, watching Amber's stiff movements, they'd hype up Alex who had started trying to twerk when a fast song came up.
It wasn't long before the DJ announced a slow song. Miles immediately pulled away from his friend group, his arms wrapping around Carter's waist to pull her into a slow dance. She smiled, leaning into her boyfriend as she raised her arms to wrap them around Miles's neck.
"You look amazing tonight." Miles whispered, swaying the two of them side to side. She blushed slightly at the compliment, "You look very handsome in your suit." Carter praised him back, her hands, that had tangled in his hair, curling his curls around her thin fingers.
"I've been waiting for prom, I was so excited about it. I couldn't wait to dance with you." Carter giggled, cutting herself off when Miles pushed her away before twirling her around slowly, his eyes scanning her body. "You've made this night perfect." She told him when she'd returned to his chest and Miles smiled. Knowing that this night was only going to get better.
