Bex's snapped open an her lungs took in a deep breath of air as she looked around, her eyes wild. The woods were quiet, no souns, no noise, quiet. She didnt like it.

She sat up her whole body shaking, the weight of the arrowhead in her hand made her flash back to her last moments, except now it was midday and there was no alter in front of her.

She stood on her wobbly feet and walked down the hill slowly stumbling and tripping and almost tumbling down the side but she made it down n one piece. She was greeted by an empty highway, not even a fly wax buzzing, it wasn't empty, it was deserted.

Her chest began to heave as she pulled up her skirt and sprinted down the high way into the center of Mystic Falls, her eyes darted around and she ran a hand through her hair as she screamed out

"HELLO?"

Her voice rang out through the now ghost town of her home and she spun in a circle, almost hyperventilating,

"HELLO?"

She yelled out again, the fear raw in her voice as it echoed around her and off the buildings, her hands gripped the roots of her hair as she spun around,

"IS ANY BODY HERE?"

Her screaming voice just bounced back at her ears and she ran towards the nearest building, a grocery store. She rounded the corners and stood on her tippy toes looking around. She knocked into a News Paper stand, making it rock on the metal feet holding it up.

She froze on her spot when she gapped one from the basket, her heart pounding harder than it ever has, and her chest moving up and down rapidly as she read the date,

"How the horse am I in 1994?"
