What a trip

I grab my suitcase and make my way to our Uber. Mattia and I hop in and just barely make it to the airport on time. We meet Kairi, Mar, and Alejandro at our gate.

Alejandro: late

Kairi: as usual.

Mar gives me a hug and we sit down until our gate number is called to board.

Mattia: are we gonna visit UCF?

Mila: huh?

Kairi: university of Central Florida.

Alejandro: i mean if you guys want, sure.

Mar: we better be going to universal. I've been wanting to go there for so long.

I look down in a disappointment. I forgot the boys head to college next year. And I'm just gonna be stuck in NJ until then.

Mar: aye, you good?

I look up and put on a fake smile.

Mila: yeah, never been better.

I take a slight pause.

Mila: how come Samy didn't come?

Mar: visiting family in Ottawa for break. He was excited to come to Florida, too

ANNOUNCEMENT: gate F to Orlando, Florida will now be boarding.

We get up and grab our luggage and head onto the plane.

It's a quick flight. Cheap too. I slept for a lot of it.

Time skip*

Mar shakes me awake and I slowly rise from my seat. He grabs both of our bags from the top compartment and we walk out the long hallway of the plane.

We head to the baggage claim and wait for Varo and Roshaun.

Mila: where tf are they? Do they know what time we land?

Alejandro: yeah, 5:45

Mattia: you dumb mf.

Alejandro: what I do?

Kairi: it's 4:45

Mar: ah, fuck.

Alejandro: I'm just fucking with you guys. I told them 4:45.

Mila: are you lying?

Alejandro: do i look like I'm lying?

I feel someone put their hands over my eyes. I scream and quickly take their hands and twist them as I spin around to face them.

Roshaun: ow ow ow. Let go!

I drop his hands.

Mila: ROSHAUN!

I smile and jump into his arms. He gives me a tight hug and spins me around.

He puts me down and goes up to the rest of the guys.

Mila: where's Varo?

Alvaro: right here.

I turn around and smile. He walks up to me with his arms out.
