Hello again children that might be older than me. I posted this story about 8 days ago and its already number 21 in BoruSara, you humans are too nice. Sorry its been a while since I posted but here it is.
I also accidentally set off the fire alarm in my house last night but we're not gonna get into it..........
Chapter 6
When Boruto returned to his house, he immediately went upstairs without saying anything. He got to his room and laid down in his bed. Sarada had forgiven him, but still, he felt so, so, bad? No, that wasn't it. He just didn't feel right. He clutched his shirt and curled into a ball. Why am I like this!?, he screamed in his head, I don't like her, I don't!. His grip tightened around his shirt. " Dammit ", he whispered, " Who am I kidding, of course I do". He released his grip and his entire body fell limp. " Why'd it have to be you.."
" Sarada?".
The next day, Konohamaru took Team 7 to go practice on the training grounds near the academy. They practiced their shuriken techniques. " Having an off day are we Boruto ", asked Sarada, back to her smug comments. She was right though, his shuriken were flying all wonky and missing the target every time. " W-well, it's just-", he trailed off, red in the face. He looked back, expecting to see her smirking at him. But instead she was just staring at him, she almost looked, worried. He looked away and tried his luck with the shuriken again. Only to have it almost hit Konohamaru. " Hey! Watch where your aiming Boruto!", he yelled. I cant hit anything because all I can think about is Sarada!, thought Boruto, his throws getting more and more aggressive the more frustrated he became. He chucked one at the target, not even attempting to hit it. The star bounced off of it and hit him between his eyes. " OW!", he yelled, and fell backwards.
Boruto held his bleeding forehead and cursed under his breath. " Boruto!", yelled Sarada and Mitsuki as they went over to him. Konohamaru was shaking his head as he slowly made his way over. " Boruto, don't do stupid things because you'll end up getting hurt you moron!", shouted Sarada. Boruto faced her but didn't have a sarcastic comment to answer. So he just looked away in embarrassment. " She's right y'know Boruto, about you being moron", said Konohamaru. " I don't recall asking for your opinion!, Boruto retorted, fuming. Konohamaru looked at him in way, like he was going to do something. And so he did. " hey Sarada", he asked. " Yes Sensei?". " Could you clean Boruto's forehead for me?" he asked her, but he was looking directly at Boruto, " C'mon Mitsuki, why don't you and I go back to training?", he said, turning around and giving Boruto a devilish grin. Go to hell, Konohamaru!, he cursed. Boruto knew exactly what he was doing. Leaving him alone with Sarada like that.
" Sit still Boruto", said Sarada, snapping him out of his thoughts. She wiped a cloth on his forehead to get the blood off. " Ow! It stings!," he yelped, clenching his teeth. " Well that's what you get for hurting yourself, you idiot!", she said hotly. Sarada sighed and went back to tending to his wounds. He looked into her eyes. His heart beat fast in his chest. " Why are you staring at me", she asked, making him jump a little. " I'm not", he responded, cheeks warm. She gave him a dubious look and stuck a bandage to his forehead." There you go, all done. Now try not to do dumb things again she said, even though it might be difficult", she replied harshly, but something in her eyes told him that she really was concerned.
They all went their separate ways after training was over, except Boruto and Konohamaru. " Hey Boruto, come walk with me", he said. Boruto eyed him warily but decided to go anyways. Its not like he had anything better to do. " Fine", he said loudly. They walked through the woods in silence for a little until Boruto finally said something. " That was a dirty trick you pulled". Boruto glared at him. " Okay, I admit that wasn't cool, but it proved my theory", he said. " Oh? And what might that be", Boruto scowled. " You're in love with Sarada", he said easily. He smiled like he'd just uncovered the greatest secret in all of Konoha. Boruto's entire face went red. " No I am not!", he shouted defensively. " Oh you totally are!", said Konohamaru. Boruto glowered at him, " I-I'm not!". Boruto looked away. Staring at the dirt path under his feet. Why am I even trying to lie, he asked himself, It's so obvious! He shoved his hands into his pockets,
