once I grow too tired to speak, everyone becomes silent
silent as a butterfly
retrace their steps
they shouldn't disturb me as I sleep
for they have left me, as slow as a butterfly leaving its cocoon,
watch,
watch your every step,
because I am wary,
I watch, in the silence
for a sign
yet no sign will show,
they are too careful,
their feet levitate,
above me, they swim
like dolphins,
bathed in caution,
for they do not wish to wake me,
because
they simply,
do not want me
