"No they did" what was he talking about? "who son?"

(Hamilton perspective)

Why don't you understand you can't help? "No one"I snap back not wanting Washington to get involved. there was another boom of thunder, Hamilton falls out of the position he was sitting in. No no no this is so embarrassing Washington's probably going to fire me."son" his voice warned "sir-I-" a boom of thunder hinders their conversation "help, I don't want to die like them!" Like all of them or disappear like the other few or bleed out or lose oxygen or drowned or-or-or-or... Hamilton's breathing accelerated, as did his quivering hands "son"his voice was soft. "I can't move"I start to panic a little more "son you'll be fine" he probably thinks I'm such a baby.... Or maybe he's actually concerned-no it's pity he thinks I'm a wimp and is giving pity. A loud boom. No! ma! No help! I'm stuck! "No, no, no" "Alexander breath okay?" I take a breath and do as told.
"I-I-it-I-we can't go like them"

(Washington's perspective)

Just look at him, he's afraid. Why is his dear Alexander so scared, he looked almost traumatized "like who son"? Another boom shakes the building. To Washington's bewilder Hamilton lets out a shriek and pushes himself as far oh way as possible until he runs into the wall and then a sob. Washington runs to Hamilton and scoots to his level "shh shh shh son everything will be fine" Hamilton is so scared he is-no he's terrified "I-si-sir"
"What is it Alexan-"a clash of lightning shuts Alexander off.

(Hamilton's perspective)

"No" Hamilton shrieks. Hamilton puts his head into his knees again as his body stiffens. "Son what is bothering you"I wasn't used to someone being around when this happened. A clash of lightning leads me to screech.

(Washington perspective)

it finally strikes Washington it's the storm. The storm is scaring his poor poor Alexander
