I don't own these characters, but yall knew that already.

Percy's POV

Annabeth and I went back to camp to talk to Chiron about what we just learned. We walked up Half-Blood Hill and onto the camp's grounds. Once we made it passed the magical barrier, we went straight to the Big House.

"Chiron, are you in there?" Annabeth knocked on the door. After a few seconds, the doorway creaked open, but instead of a centaur standing in the entryway, it was Mr. D holding a can of Diet Coke.

"What do you want?" He asked us.

"We need to speak with Chiron, is he here?" Annabeth responded.

"Ya, he's in here, just come in or whatever." Mr. D walked away from the door and begrudgingly led us to where Chiron was sitting in his magical wheelchair which concealed his centaur body.

"Hello Percy and Annabeth, what is it that you need."

"Do you know anything about the past five years?" I blurted out.

"What do you mean, within the last five years you came to camp, defeated Kronos, and defeated Gaea, what is it that you need to know."

"No, the years we were all gone. The LAST five years." I stressed.

"So you found out," Chiron said softly.

"Did you really think that we would never find out that we all just disappeared for the last five years. It's 2024, nine months ago it was 2018!" I snapped. "What aren't you telling us." Annabeth put a hand on my shoulder trying to calm me down.

"Settle down Perry." Mr. D said.

"It's Percy." I started to correct, but Mr. D only continued.

"There is someone here. Someone is in the perimeters of camp but can't see it." Mr. D walk closer to the three of us. "I'm going to let them in."

"What, why?" Annabeth asked.

"Don't question me, girl! This is the right call, they know we are here, and they don't seem to be a threat. Just act normal."

Dionysus snapped his fingers, and suddenly, out of nowhere, a boy was standing in front of me.  I looked at his face. He seemed familiar for some reason, I was sure I'd seen him somewhere before. What the kid was wearing confused me. He wore a red, body tight, spandex suit with black stripes covering it. In the middle of the chest was a black spider emblem.

"Hello there, would you like to tell me what you are doing here?" Mr. D asked the boy. He looked stunned. He turned his head to meet Dionysus's eyes, but once he did, terror seemed to seep out of him. I'm not sure why though, he just looks like a drunk middle-aged man.

"Who are you?" He asked trying to sound confident.

"There will be time for that later, for now, I need to know who you are." Suddenly I remembered where I saw this boy's face. It was on TV earlier this morning.

"Spiderman!" I shouted. "He's Spiderman."

"Did you say SPIDERman?" Annabeth asked me, stepping back. I knew how much she hated spiders, so it was no surprise that she didn't like the idea of a 'spiderman,' although I didn't know what this guy had to do with spiders, other than the name and the emblem on his suit.

He turned his head to me. "Yep, it's me, the one and only friendly neighboorhood Spiderman. It's nice to see someone recognizes an Avenger. I mean, I thought my suit was pretty recognizable."

"Your suit, no I recognize your face, from that news broadcast earlier, I've never seen your suit before."

"My face," He gasped seeming to only now realize that the mask in his hand wasn't covering it. "oh no."

"What's the big deal? Everyone who saw the news today has already seen your identity, so why do you need the mask?"

"I was just hoping to cover that up somehow. My secret identity is really important. If I ever want to have a normal life...wait, why am I telling you this, I don't know you." Spiderman, seemingly out of nowhere, jumped into battle position, fists out, staring me down.

"We don't want to hurt you, probably. " Annabeth chimed in, still a little taken aback by the whole, "my only fear is spiders" thing.

"Wait," I told her, "I think he's some criminal or something now who killed another hero or whatever, so maybe he wants to hurt us." I turned back to Spiderman and stared right back at him.

The kid relaxed, "No, I'm not a criminal. I didn't do anything bad, that wasn't me. Mysterio set me up. He's the one who made the illusions and destroyed London with his killer drones."

"Who's Mysterio?" Annabeth asked

"Killer drones?" I pondered, "What are you talking about?"

"You guys seem to know absolutely nothing. How don't you know what I'm talking about?" He asked us.

"Oh, we know a lot of things, just not whatever you're talking about," I told him.

"You know what, let's just start over. Hi, I'm Peter Parker, also known as Spiderman."

I was weary to tell this kid my name, but Chiron decided to step in first. "Hello Peter, I'm Chiron."

"Chiron, like the centaur guy from Greek mythology." Annabeth and I both chuckled a little at that comment.

"Oh, so you know Greek mythology?" Chiron asked.

"Yeah, a little. I learned some stuff about it at school."

"Hey Peter, how do we know you're not lying about being set up by this Mysterio guy?"

"I don't know, you'll just have to trust me, just know, I would never do anything to slander Mr. Stark's name. He was my mentor. I couldn't do that to him."

"Who's Mr. Stark?" Annabeth asked Peter.

"Wow, you guys really are clueless. You don't know Tony Stark. He literally saved the world. I just wish he didn't have to die to do it." It took me so much self-control not to shout "Well I saved the world, twice, and I didn't die," but I was able to hold it in. And saying that probably would have really upset the kid seeing how said 'Tony Stark.'

"Ok, I guess I'll choose to trust you, but I will kill you if you end up lying to us. Hi, my name is Percy Jackson."
