Peter's POV

I sat up with no knowledge of what was going on surrounded by 5 people all staring at me with confused, worried, and one of them, with blank faces.
"Why are you all looking at me like I was just brought back from the dead? Well except you." I looked towards the one person in the group that I hadn't met. He had deathly pale, olive skin, and short, very dark, hair.
"This is pretty much how I'd react to that." The boy who I remembered to be Will chuckled.
"Don't mind Nico, he's a nutcase." He said still grinning. Nico glared at him. I was scared for the kid, Nico didn't seem like the kind of person who could take a joke. "What, it's true," Will said still radiating positive energy. To my surprise, Nico let out a small laugh and smiled.
"Anyways," Will continued, "how do you feel. You were out for a surprisingly short time considering the drug I gave you. You fell pretty far and broke a lot of bones and had a few other problems, including a blood clot. For any normal person, or even any normal demigod, that fall would've killed you, luckily, you're not normal." I looked a Percy and Annabeth who hadn't said a word since I work up.
"We had to tell them, it was for your safety." Annabeth consoled. I only nodded in approval and turned my head back to Will.
"I wrapped and splinted the areas with broken bones, your arms, legs, and ribs, but before I could even get to treating the blood clot, it was already gone. And now, all of your bones are healed too. I'm guessing that one of your superpowers is super healing."
"Ya, it is."
"I'm just happy that you're all right. That fall looked rough. What caused that anyways?" Percy asked.
"Um, I don't know." I lied, knowing exactly why I had fallen into a sudden panic. "What happened to that monster. Why did it turn to dust." I said the word with extra emphasis.
"Oh, a monster turns to dust when you kill it. Well, it doesn't actually die, it just goes back to Tartarus for a long time. You know, the way you tied up that cyclops was so cool. You would've killed it if your webs were celestial bronze or imperial gold. Those are the only things that can kill a monster."
"Well, anyway, it's almost dinner time and I think Peter's good to go, so let's start heading to the dining pavilion," Will said while disconnecting some wires from my arm.
I stepped out of bed and walked with the five people who were around my bed to the dining pavilion. I followed them to an empty table and sat down. I hadn't realized it until I smelled the food, but I was really hungry. I sat at the table next to Rachel, Will sat with Nico, and Percy and Annabeth sat together across from us.
"You know," Annabeth said, "We used to have to sit with our cabins to eat but after nagging Mr. D for a few months, he finally let us sit where ever we wanted." She said proudly.
Everyone seemed so happy while we ate. Annabeth and Percy were ecstatic just to be able to sit next to each other, Will and Nico, who I realized were a couple when I noticed them holding hands as we walked to the pavilion, kept smiling at each other, and Rachel was still starstruck by the fact that Spider-man was sitting with her. We all talked for a while about, mostly, normal things like our interests and day to day lives. After we all finished eating, well I say finished - we actually left almost half of our food on our plates - we scraped the leftovers into the fire as a gift for the gods. Percy told me I should "say something to Poseidon because he's letting you stay his cabin." So I complied, and as I watched the delicious food disappear in the fire, I thanked Percy's dad for the kind gesture. I didn't really understand what was so special about letting me sleep in a nearly empty cabin, but I was starting to get the feeling that the gods weren't really the best people.

By the end of dinner, I still hadn't told my new friends that I MJ was on her way here. I had told her to come, even though Rachel specifically told me not to tell anyone about this place and that it "wasn't my secret to tell," which I agreed with. I would never be happy with MJ or Ned if they told anyone about my, previously, secret identity. But it doesn't matter what I feel about secrets, she was in trouble, so I did the only thing I could think of. It's been almost two hours since I called MJ, I'm sure she'd be here any minute, and I had no idea what to do, I didn't even know if she would be able to see the camp. Rachel told me that the reason that I can see it is that I'm what they call clear-sighted, like her, and being clear-sighted is very rare for humans. I wanted to get away from the group to see if I could find MJ at the boundaries of the camp, but I couldn't seem to get away. They told me that the campfire and the songs are one of the best parts of the camp. They wouldn't let me miss it.

We walked a short distance from the dining pavilion to a large fire pit surrounded by tons of campers. This was the first time I realized how many people were at the camp. There were at least 100, probably more. Seeing how Percy's cabin only had one person, and I couldn't really tell the number of people in the dining pavilion, I expected there to be no more than 50 campers, at the most. I sat down, waiting for the campfire songs to begin, while secretly hoping it would end quickly so that I could find MJ.

In the middle of the group, next to the fire, trotted in a familiar figure. It was Chiron, rallying for everyone's attention. All of the campers quickly settled down. "Good evening everyone." He announced to the crowd. "Today, I would like to start by welcoming our new campers. Just today, we have two new people joining us. The first is Michel." A short kid with dirty blonde hair stood up near the middle of the group. He waved to everyone. "He is 11 years old and was already claimed today by Aphrodite." A group of both boys and girls sitting around him started to cheer. Chiron motioned for them all to calm down so he could continue. "The next new camper we have joining us today is Peter." He looked up at me and signaled for me to stand. I followed his direction and gave a small wave to the crowd. I sat back down. Chiron continued to talk, but he was cut off. "Now lets g-"

"Wait, was he claimed because I didn't hear about another overflow camper?" A tall boy with curly brown hair asked.

"No, he has not been claimed, but he has special permission to stay in another cabin. I shouldn't be the one to tell you the reason, that is for Peter to tell if he chooses to." Everyone was staring at me, hoping for an explanation, but I didn't say anything. This was just another reminder that telling MJ to come here without anyone's permission was not very 'heroic' of me. "Anyways, le-." Chiron was cut off again, this time by a man's voice from the back of the crowd.

Everyone turned towards the voice. "Wait, we have one more," Mr. D said in a monotone voice. "This is MJ."
