Narrator pov

Nicole agreed to taking the kids back into town today

After her hearing miles talk to Ava about how he wanted to repay her after breaking her phone out of jealousy

She said yes

She thought I was kind, she also thought her sister needed a boy in here life like this

Nicole didn't know about the bipolar behavior miles had because he was always normal around her

The voices miles had never came around the time Nicole was around

They only happened with Ava

The voices found an interest in Ava for some reason and miles didn't like the fact that they did

Ava and miles didn't want to separate in the car so they sat next to each other

Ava was liking the nice and caring miles

She hoped not to see the abusive miles again

But that was something she couldn't control and it was soon to come

"Ok love birds, no funny business back there" Nicole joked and laughed "why would we do that?" Ava asked disgusted while miles laughed

Ava pov

"who knows what you 16 year olds are up to" she said and I rolled my eyes

Miles and I intertwined our fingers and laid my head on his shoulder

"We have to start going in town more" Nicole said and I shook my head "no, it's too long of a drive and I get car sick easily" I complained which was a lie, I just didn't want miles being around other girls

Narrator pov

She thought all girls around her looked way better than her

She was insecure about her self, and that's one thing miles couldn't tell by just looking at her

Nobody really knew that she was insecure about her self

She just didn't show it

"Well you haven't been car sick for these past few rides" Nicole said back "yea, but I'm starting to feel it" she lied and miles knew she was

"What's actually wrong?" He whispered in her ear "nothing" she said and miles sighed "Ava I know something is up..what is it?" He asked again "I'm fine miles" she said with attitude and miles was shocked about her sudden outburst

He then took his hand away making avas hand become cold, she felt bad

She didn't mean to yell at her boyfriend

"You 2 ok back there?" Nicole asked as she looked back for a split second then her eyes darted back to the road

"We're fine" miles said in a monotone voice Ava looked over at flora to see her asleep

She then sighed while looking back outside

She looked at miles and his eyes stayed on the road with his head on the glass

She went for his hand and he immediately scooted his hand the other way

Her heart broke at his action but she left it alone

She couldn't cry in front of him, she wanted to let him know that she was stable enough to keep them together and not let this relationship fall apart so simply

Soon they got to the mall

Nicole woke up flora but she wasn't quite woke yet so Nicole picked her up and they continued to walk in the mall

Soon Ava took miles to the Apple store and he was confused to why people would want all this technology when they have a life in front of them

A group of girls all stood in a corner looking at the iPhone 11 max

Ava wasn't gonna spend all of his money, she just wanted to get a simple cheap phone

Ava grew nervous seeing the girls in the store she instantly wanted to leave

"Let's look around" miles said and she nodded

The girls in the corner soon turned around and started looking over at the laptops

Miles eyes darted to the group of girls and Ava heart broke instantly

He probably thinks they look better

Ava thought as she walked away and looked at the phones

Her eyes traveled to an 11 and she tested it out

She looked back up to where miles were and he wasn't there she looked over at the group of girl to see miles talking to them

She grew sad by each minute

"Hi, do you need some help?" An Apple worker walked up to her "n-no thanks, I was just looking" she said and he nodded and walked away

Ava walked over to the 6s phone and sighed

She then looked back up see miles walking to her

"You found the phone you like?" He asked "Yea, this one" she said and miles furrowed his eyebrows "the girls told me the 11 was the newest, I think I might get one " miles said "is that what they said?" Ava said not believing him

"What do you mean, Ava?" Miles asked beginning to get irritated "nothing..it's just when I try to get you to buy a new phone you don't budge, a group a pretty girls tell you to get...oh yea I'll just get a phone now" Ava said while trying to mock his voice and miles laughed coldly

"Are you seriously being a bitch about this?" He asked and Ava hand went over her chest "oh so I'm a bitch now?" She asked "no Ava-that's not what I meant, I sorry" he said and Ava walked out of the store

Ava walked into the girls restroom and she went into a stall and cried softly

Her relationship with miles was already heading in a bad direction, they just had a fight and they have only been dating for 13 hours

Miles on the other hand bought 2 iPhone 11's and he walked out and started searching for his girlfriend

He then walked past the girls restroom and stopped

He waited there

Minutes later no one came out

Soon one of the girls from the Apple store was heading to the bathroom and miles stopped one if the girls

"Can you please ask for Ava, she's my girlfriend and I don't know where she went" miles said and the girl nodded and walked into the bathroom

Ava sat on top of the closed toilet as she tried to get herself together

"Is someone named Ava in here" Ava suddenly heard and walked out of her stall "yea, who's asking?" She said "the boy from the Apple store, he said you were his girlfriend?" The girl and Ava nodded "yea, we'll he's waiting for you outside" she said and Ava looked in the mirror

She knew he would notice that she was crying, but she didn't care at this point

She walked out to see miles waiting looking around anxiously

He looked back towards the bathroom to see his girlfriend walking out

He walked up to her and grabbed her hand "you scare me, were you crying?" He asked "n-yes, it doesn't matter miles, let's find the girls" she said not wanting to explain why

"Ava, we're talking about this when we get home" she said and she shook her head "yes, now give me hug" he said and he pulled Ava by the hand making her fall into his arms

"I love you" he said "I love you too" she said
