Ryewook's eyes widened at the lack of space between your faces. You leaned in a bit more but he just leaned back into his seat, an awkward silence settling in due to his rejection.

Maybe you weren't sober yet.

"Your drunk too" you blurted out randomly.

Ryewook shuffled in his seat, a hopeless smile on his face.

"Never said I wasn't"

"Then why are you in the driver's seat?" You asked, a questionable look on your face.

"I liked it better when you were younger and clueless about everything" he sighed, not answering your question.

"Not like anything has changed" you mumbled to yourself, before looking around the car.

It was tidy, but had a strong scent of alcohol, like he had been drinking for a few days straight. You frowned in realisation that it was probably because of that Soojin.

Yes, it was a little petty of you to jump to the conclusion that the drunken smell of the car was caused by Soojin. But you couldn't help it; she cheated on someone you cared about a lot. You knew how much it hurts when someone your in a romantic relationship with, cheats on you.

"What's with you and Soojin?" You asked, "you said I could meet up with her... So I'm waiting"

"You've seen my texts, it's been alright... We are just warming up to being a couple again. But, she is trying her best"

"How so?" You asked, reluctant in believing him.

"She doesn't really respond to my texts and calls, but whenever we Meetup she is normal"

"Ah" you nodded, "what happened with Siwon?"

Ryeowook paused for a second before answering.

"We are friends again-"

"No fucking way!" You exclaimed, eyes widened, "drop him... What the fuck?"

"Okay first of all no swearing and second of all... He didn't mean it-"

"Oh my god you got cheated on by your best friend and your girlfriend... It would either be keep one of them and drop the other, but it will be really hard to be on good terms with both of them again. Plus, 'he didn't mean it' is the most basic excuse Ive ever heard before. Honestly, id rather my partner tell me 'I was horny, drunk and desperate'... That's a way better excuse than just the simple one time accident."

Ryeowook sighed loudly.

"Well I don't fucking know, I love both of them!" He exclaimed frustratedly, "I can't just get over them that fast!"

You chuckled, mostly because it was the first time you've ever seen him swear. The only time he had ever swore was when you were still in middle school, Yesung was having a party and Ryeowook was having a heated discussion on twitter and was ranting to a couple of his friends aloud, which involved a lot of cussing. Ever since then you never been able to look at Ryeowook the same.

"I know this may seem hard but maybe you should try and drop both of-"

You saw Taeyong walk out of the police station, your belongings in hand.

"Oh wait here" you said as you got out of the car, walking to him.

He smiled, handing you your stuff.

"Thanks Taeyong, sorry for all the stupid shit with my brother" you apologized in a sweet tone.

"My older sister can be just as annoying" he chuckled, "but without the punches are curse words"
