Yunhee looked back at Jaemin and waited for an answer, Jaemin lips were parted but he wasn't saying anything so Yuta decided to save his ass.

"From what I know, Jaemin went between schools because his family constantly moved for business"

"That doesn't really.... Make sense?" Yunhee cocked her head to the side whilst looking confused.

Jaemin blushed slightly with (presumably) embarrassment.

"It's complicated"

"Why didnt you introduce Y/N and I then? We could've all became friends quicker... Why would you enroll into two schools, that'd be expensive and really tangled. Is enrolling into two schools even possible Jaemin?"

"Well... I just had to persuade them I was worth it, my parents did all the work"

"Why didn't you just tell us that  instead of making up stuff Jaemin?" Yunhee asked once more.

"Yeah... Why Jaemin?" You added, "I would've liked to know Yunhee sooner"

"I was really busy... I-I was planning for it, don't get me wrong, but there were other things I had to prioritise"

"So you decided go lie?" You spoke, nodding sarcastically to show your disappointment. Though, your genuine disappointment wouldn't be able to be shown in a simple nod, if you had to express your disappointment in a nod, your neck would be basically broken beyond recovery.

"I just didn't want to confuse my life and make one you do something that would possibly negate your day-to-day life-"

"Guys come on, it's Y/N's first day back... We might as well have some fun rather than holding Jaemin down for a damnass interrogation. Both of you know how sensitive Jaemin can get" Yuta sighed, putting his arm around Jaemin and ruffling his hair.

Jaemin glared at the boy for a few seconds before rolling his eyes and pushing his arm off him.

You and Yunhee giggled in response, yours of course was fake.

"So we should go out, drink and party-"

"No" You heard Jungwoo intrude into the conversation, breaking the circle formed by You, Yunhee, Jaemin and Yuta, "Yuta if you, one day, are diagnosed with liver failure, don't blame it on the members because you couldn't hold your mouth"

"Oh Jungwoo, you're kind of sexy today" Yuta greeted with a exaggerated wink, brushing off Jungwoo's previous statement, "say... If I fall would you catch me?"

"What kind of question is that" Jungwoo scoffed.

Suddenly Yuta crossed his arms as a corpse would and closed his eyes as he let himself fall backwards, seemingly expecting the comforting cushioned impact on Jungwoo's arms.

Jungwoo shook his head and ignored the boy, letting him fall down to the concrete floor, mouthing 'idiot' to himself.

There was a sudden loud thump accompanied by a (just as loud) shriek which echoed throughout  the halls as Yuta made contact with the floor.

"I thought I meant more to you Kim Jungwoo!" Yuta exclaimed as he got back up slowly with the help of Jaemin, hyperbolising every motion.

"What did you expect? For me to catch you? Delusional." Jungwoo rolled his eyes.
