You felt all of the nerves in your body go completely numb, your heart dropping as your mind elapsed into a total state of emptiness.

You laid there for hours, Changsub letting you do your own thing as you heard nothing more from him.

You got up around 5am and sat at the dining room with no cuffs, surprisingly everyone was there, early and awake. Guess that explained the absence of Changsub in the room.

Once you sat down you gathered the attention of everyone due to your lack of cuffs.

Minnie looked at you, pausing her momentous rant on how much she wanted to destroy the companies at the top of the 'Mafia game'.

She was about to say something but Changsub gave her a look, motioning her to stay quiet.

You didn't eat, you simply drank water and sat there.

You went between completely ignoring the idea of them replacing you to reassuring yourself that they would've have to gotten your message and were on the brink of saving you. But you knew, ultimately,  which one you believed more.

Everyone except for Changsub, Ilhoon and Sungjae left.

You didn't know what to do.

You heard the three of them arguing from a certain distance away. They were talking about what Changsub had revealed to you yesterday. You wondered for a brief moment if Changsub had made the whole thing about NCT replacing you up... But you didn't believe that, why the fuck would Changsub pull that out of his ass?

For entertainment?

For a laugh?

For the conflict and drama?

You had to agree on Changsub's statement form yesterday: 'Although I act like a hyper five year old half the time, I'm not completely stupid'.

You really did want to disclose all your thoughts as you being gullible and vulnerable to Changsub's mind games but you just couldn't bring yourself to believe that, even if you really wanted to.

You stood up and walked over to the group of arguing guys, your presence making them go silent.

"Give me proof"

"Absolutely not-'

"What's the loss Sungjae?"

"She can use the information we give her and report back to NCT"

"I'll be the judge of that. Just let me see."

You looked at Changsub, Changsub looked at Sungjae and Peniel looked at Ilhoon.

Ilhoon pointed at the three of us.

"If Eunhyuk finds out, the blame is on all of you, not me."

You nodded, before following Ilhoon.

He unpacked a box situated in the side of the room which wasn't collecting dust. It seemed fairly new and recently collected data.

"I'll leave the rest to you three" Ilhoon mumbled, looking significantly annoyed at the boys behind you.

He left the room, in which you heard Sungjae smack Changsub light yet harsh manner.

You grabbed all the documents in the box and placed them onto the table.

You then picked up the document with the title 'The benefit of Kim Y/N's recruitment to SM'. It was a thick stapled document that went on for many pages, you read the summary since you just wanted to know why and who they were replacing you with.
