***The two of you stood there, watching this street artist paint the surrounding scene.
This is what Jungwoo meant when he said that he wanted the two of you to 'have some fun'.Jungwoo seemed to be having the time of his life, not taking his eyes off of the painter once. You didn't want to sound like you were in love with him or anything... But you were just staring at Jungwoo the whole time, which you, at first, didn't think he noticed.
You knew Jungwoo liked arts and different forms of craft, but you really didn't notice how much he appreciated it.
You two would be in the middle of walking together before he'd randomly stop in front of a broken pot on the street, or a bunch of spray paint scribbles on the wall. He seemed to just gravitate to these works and see something in them, someone abstract and beautiful. After watching the street painter for over twenty minutes, Jungwoo let out a "woah"
You looked away from his face and onto the work he was seeming to be impressed by.
On the thin plank of wood the artist worked on, there, painted, was a bunch of lines curved together to form a tree looking figure with people as fruit hanging off of it and grass drawn out as sky scraping buildings. It truly was JUST colours and outlines on a piece of wood.In all honesty, you thought it looked like... Well... Shit.
But when you were about how confused you were about the painting, you saw Jungwoo dig his fingers into his wallet, taking out loads of money.
He didn't seem to be satisfied with the $50 dollar note he found. You assumed he wanted a smaller note like a $5 or even a generous $10 note, but you were soon proved wrong as he smiled at a $100 dollar note.He was going to tip this guy $100 for a painting you would barely understand.
It's not like you could judge him or anything, you just found it a bit weird. Jungwoo, to you, made an impression that he wasn't a generous person nor a person that'd care much about another persons needs. You didn't stop Jungwoo, but instead just watched him go up to the artist and place the note into the jar he had in front of him.
The artist eyes widened, before reaching out and holding onto Jungwoo's hand.
You would've thought that Jungwoo, one of the coldest successful assassins of SM, would push the artists hand away, but he instead just stood there and listened to what the artist had to say."Take this" the artist looked towards you for a brief moment before directing his attrition back on Jungwoo and patting his hand, "for you and your mrs"
The artist took out two matching embroidered red silk pouches. You recognized them, they were these superstitious 'good luck' poaches with coloured rice and cheap crystals in them.
Jungwoo smiled, and took them, showing his gratefulness by bowing his head slightly before walking back to your side, placing the poaches in his pocket. You have never see him so polite towards someone since that time he met Yesung.
Jungwoo motioned for the two of you to finally move from the spot you were stuck in for over twenty minutes.
As Jungwoo and you started to walk away from the previous spot, he gravitated towards another street artist.
You grabbed his wrist, casually, and pulled him away.
He gave you this disappointed look, "why not?"
"Just... We should move on-"
"I thought you liked looking at me"
"Looking at you?"
He nodded, "isn't that what you were doing the whole time while I watched the painter?"
"Ah" you shook your head slowly, "no, I'm not sure what you're fantasizing about"
